Is he going to help us stop the run?

I honestly don't think we're that bad against the traditional run like we were before. Our issue is the RPO with a mobile QB. And apparently the rest of the league has an issue with that as well. To me, OBJ is insurance against injury. I'm not expecting a hell of a lot from him otherwise.

I feel like OBJ is a no impact move at this point in his career and after his injuries.

But it would be big headline news for the Cowboys, so impact on the actual team positive or negative be damned.
He brings knowledge of winning in the postseason and a Super Bowl ring. Something this team severely lacks outside of Jason peters

So does Mike McCarthy as a HC and that hasn't made a difference.

We need production not advice.

Hankins was brought here for that. And Did well his first game. The problem is the RPO which (hopefully) is what Damone Clark can help stop with his speed.
....I really feel Hankins has been HUGE patch to run problems.

I was watching re-run of Bears game. They couldnt move him from his spot. He played off the blocks, and went where he needed to go.

On one play, he played of double team and still tackled RB coming through. Dude has already improved our D.
