I feel like OBJ is a no impact move at this point in his career and after his injuries.

But it would be big headline news for the Cowboys, so impact on the actual team positive or negative be damned.

Guy was probably on his way to be Super Bowl MVP before that injury. He single handedly made their offense look unstoppable again. It is amazing to me people who want to deny what we saw happen. We saw him dominate in the playoffs. We saw him get that early TD in the Super Bowl.

"before his injury" you say as if it's just a side note.

We saw a lot of great players be shells of themselves once the injuries started to rack up.

I asked what y’all would be saying if signed in philly. Not dallas
I'd be surprised at 7-0 Philly's desperation.

I would think Philly would go after guys that are going to be actual impact players. OBJ is the type of move Jerry makes because it'll be big headlines, not because of the impact it'll have on the field.

If Jerry cared about winning we'd be looking for run stoppers, but that's not the sexy thing to do.

We know he has an injury history but we also know he looked dominant before the injury. So you are utterly convinced that while none of the previous injuries did him in THIS is the one that will make him a shell of himself. That just seems like a losing bet more times than not. Sure eventually you bet every injury is the end of the player you will be right but if you had bet it with him the previous 3 times you would have lost so if I were betting I would bet on the thing that has happened multiple times already, i.e. him coming back and looking good, versus the thing that has not happened yet.

ODell’s price just went up

Packers’ WR Romeo Doubs has been carted off the field and to the locker room.

I'm not utterly convinced of anything at all.

I'm just saying that it's best to not hedge your bets on him being anything special. He's got a lot of wear and tear on his body at this point.

Ya'll act like he's not been sidelines for almost a year from another injury...

Yeah, we all watched him last year, we all also saw how it ended for him once again.

By all mean, get your hopes up, but don't say some of us didn't warn ya.

You aren’t warning anyone. You are downplaying Odell’s impact on this team. I don’t get how anyone in their right mind doesn’t think adding Odell without giving up anything doesn’t help?

Odell isn't going to stop San Fran or Philly from running for 200+ against us in the playoffs for one.

For two, we've not seen this man play a snap since he, once again, got injured.

You said AJ Brown was a bum when the Eagles got him when NOBODY at all thought that and knew that it was going to improve them. If the Eagles, Giants, or Commanders were the ones going after OBJ you'd be doing the same smear campaign acting like he was nothing.

You are allowing your fandom to overrate players in their current state just because they are connected to the Cowboys.

If we can sign Michael Gallup a career #2 receiver while is is injured, why not go ahead and sign OBJ while he rehabs?

And you have a right to feel that way, same thing with Gallup. But don't act like we didn't warn yall if he comes in here and takes the offense to another level. Stop being so negative dang

When the hell has the 49ers or Eagles ran us for 200 yards? Bears did it. But who else has done it?

If OBJ is healthy then it would be a good pickup...heres the thing, again I'll ask who in the WR room do you feel like we can say "I comming to you no matter what" and you feel confident in it...OBJ when healthy is that guy. If he goes to Philly i feel like he would be a good addtion but not the same change to thier WR room as ours..my opinion of course.
