Watch the clips on DC.com that they show in Dez's interview. That's the type of exchange you see between QBs and other players with some frequency. It was intense, but it certainly didn't look like Dez was personally attacking Romo.
I think he went after Romo pretty hard. It was not a good look.

But he hasn't. He's consistently shown he's a team player first. I think Dez gets an unfair rep by some.
Inspiring until it goes too far, sure. I love Dez's passion but there is a point where you can go off the deep end.

Listen to Dez's interview on DC.com. That is a man that is all about team. I re-watched the heated exchanges again and they're even less of a big deal than when I saw them live. Can't blame him for losing his cool a little at the end. I've never played team sports, but I would imagine that having a guy like that on your team with so much love and intensity towards the game would be inspiring, if anything.

I've been in those situations, albeit on a lower level than NFL lol

A guy who is a leader and key player can go off sometimes and it's a wake up call. But everyone starts rolling their eyes, or worse getting distracted from the job at hand, when the guy keeps yelling at everyone and doesn't focus on the next play.

Dez went too far plain and simple. Good on Romo and Co playing it down so as to handle it internally.

And Dez mouthing an F bomb directly to the camera has to stop also.

I don't think anyone is saying he isn't a team player. One can have a team first approach but still take it too far.

Is there a gif of that? Not saying it didn't happen, just didn't see it.

I don't know how to find and capture it but it definitely happened no doubt. After his TD in the 4th. But long enough after that he should have been calmed down on the sideline.

When Irvin was on the team it was called "fiery leadership" because they won. On this team people interpret it as "immature diva outbursts" because the team is on a decade long highway to .500 ball mediocrity. Fix the winning percentage and watch the perception change.

I'll tell you this, id rather see a player visibly pissed off at the end of a heartbreaking loss than smiling and eager to shake their opponents hands like they have in the past.

I guess I am on the 'wrong" side......but I am tired of this team losing, and I don't really care why or what caused the outburst, just glad somebody showed some "real fire" out there, call me an idiot, but at least my team wouldn't be content with losing.

I have no problem with Dezs' passion, but he needs to choose his moments more carefully. Don't lose that fire, Dez!!

He shouted at a few people on the sideline, he didn't burn down an orphanage. People need to settle down.

He did it for about two hours straight. You can't organize and adjust during a game with a wild hyena screaming at everybody non stop.

That's not fire. That's just immaturity and stupidity.

Did you see Calvin Johnson doing that? Ever?

I could care less what Dez said. He was right. It's about time someone said it. I don't care who's toes he stepped on. I'm sick of this mediocrity year after year and it never stops.

What was he saying at the end? He wasn't saying anything. He was out of his mind, uncontrollable. He was like that really drunk guy in college you couldn't reason with.

At his post-game press conference, Romo said Dez has never asked him for the ball, and Dez is all about winning, not about "me".

Romo has Dez' back fully on this.
Dez certainly needs to tone it down, but they know him well enough now to rrealize it's way more about winning and not about Dez.
I do think this week took a toll on him. And then when Calvin went to levels almost no player has ever gone before, I think it made things worse.
