If we lose on Sunday it will be like the 07 season when we were the #1 seed and lost to a team at home that we beat during the regular season. If we don't win on Sunday this season will be a bad memory just like the 07 season. Hard to believe you can win 13 games and your division and look back and cringe but that's what will happen for many of us if Green Bay comes into our house and knocks us off.

To have the same team knock you out of the playoffs the last time we made the playoffs would just add insult to injury. We won the battle with the Packers earlier this season but we have to win on Sunday to win the war with them. I remember some on the board saying we got payback for our playoff loss beating them earlier in the season but to get payback for that playoff loss we have to beat them on Sunday. A playoff loss isn't avenged during the regular season.

what a coward.

Strangely, I find SAS entertaining. He's always has an opinion that seems well thought out and he explains why he thinks that way, however much you may disagree. And if you pay enough attention, you can tell his whole Cowboy hating persona is just an act. He has a part to play. Protagonist/Antagonist

Shannon Sharp is another story altogether. Dude is a complete fool. Unwatchable in my opinion. It's a wonder he doesn't wear a bib when he talks.

Losing this weekend would be a huge disappointment and would erase all the good that happened during the regular season.

There is no guarantee the Cowboys even make the playoffs next year. Injuries could happen at any time.

The Cowboys are the #1 seed yet some are already making excuses if they lose. The Cowboys will be the best team on the field Sunday so them choking the game away would be terrible.

Disagree with Irvin. Don't need a win for a successful season. 13 wins. 1 seed. Rookie QB. That should not happen.
Before the year started I predicted 7 or 8 wins.

So to me, this season has been a success already. For the rest of this year, we are playing with house money.

Now my expectations for next year will be very different.

He's afraid of anyone calling him out to his face beside his comfort zone of manufactured argument.
No, he's not afraid of anyone calling him out. In fact, he loves for guys like Mike and others to come on his show because they elevate his exposure.
If anything, him not being on the show today gives ESPN and Stephen A. another opportunity to book Michael Irvin.

SAS and Bayless both realized that talking about the Cowboys brings ratings. If Smith really hated the Cowboys as much as he claims, he would simply not talk about them. He knows exactly what he's doing, and he's laughing all the way to the bank.

SAS is a spineless coward. Though both Skip and SAS are repugnant individuals, never understood why Skip was hated more.

Really? Skip has made so many ridiculously poor statements and accusations about the Cowboys and the players. Really too many to list.

Skip is hated more because he often defends the Cowboys. And it goes without saying that the majority of America is anti-Cowboy.

Risen, I know I've gotten on you HARD about your Bromance with Wentz. But, you are absolutely right. I personally believe that this season is NOT as important as the next 3-4.......if this draft is to TRULY live up to the billing, there needs to be quite a few more Top Seed Seasons and.........(drum roll)............this team maintaining TRUE RELAVANCE for awhile (like Seattle has done.)
