SAS is hilarious already showing cracks stating that Dallas may have an easy road the other day. Lol... My sole purpose in life is to win a SB and watch him destroyed. I may fly to Bristol to greet him personally should we win it all.

You know Molly was steaming mad. I wish the camera had panned to her.

Max is a hardcore Giants fan as well. Look at his face after Mike said the Giants will not get another shot :)

No, he's not afraid of anyone calling him out. In fact, he loves for guys like Mike and others to come on his show because they elevate his exposure.
If anything, him not being on the show today gives ESPN and Stephen A. another opportunity to book Michael Irvin.
Somebodys looking to drink his bathwater. When he can't bloviate like a clown honking a horn because people will call him on his **** he has to act like a reasonable adult with salient points. This is his weak point. He likes people talking about him on twitter, to his face he has to dial it all back. He can't out shout Mike.

Disagree with Irvin. Don't need a win for a successful season. 13 wins. 1 seed. Rookie QB. That should not happen.

This can still be a successful season even if we don't win on Sunday because of our rookie QB? But if Romo was playing and we lost, that wouldn't be a successful season? If that's the point, you do realize you're admitting this team has a better chance of winning with Romo, don't you? Otherwise, why would you be disappointed with one scenario but not the other?

So we lose, and all is good? No questioning the organization for going with a rookie QB over a Pro Bowl veteran? If Dak is the best person for this playoff run, as so many here are claiming he is, he should be held to the same standard as Romo. Otherwise, you're all just spouting ********.

IMO it will not be a successful postseason if the Cowboys do not win Sunday. They need to get to the NFCC game. It is time this franchise takes the next step.

Not once have I ever said Prescott is our best QB. So take that elsewhere.

He's playing Sunday. He's played all season. Will I say the season is a failure because a rookie QB went 13-3, the 1 seed and lost his first playoff game? No I won't. Others will but not me. It's simply being realistic in your expectations for a rookie QB.

Agreed. This is a successful season with what has been achieved at this point. Would it be disappointing if they were to lose this weekend? Absolutely. Even then, it can't erase how amazing the season was with a rookie QB, an elite running back and a number of additional contributing parts from this draft class. I can't say that I saw this coming when Romo went down in Seattle. This season has been very enjoyable in terms of just being along for the ride and savoring what has happened.

I was going to start a thread asking what everyone would do at QB for this game but I figured we didn't need another QB thread. Still, if they lose on Sunday, some will Monday morning QB it and say they started the wrong QB. Which is fine as long as you're saying it now.

I kept voting in those polls during the season to start Prescott because the team kept winning. When you win that much you don't change your underwear let alone your QB. Also, I didn't think Romo could stay on the field anyway. It was never about thinking Prescott is better than Romo. He's not.

Now that we're in the postseason and I'm less concerned about Romo having to stay on the field for a long stretch of games I would absolutely start him on Sunday. He's our best QB. For the same reason I'd run Zeke until he collapses, I'm starting Romo. It's taking our best swing at this. You don't do that with a rookie QB.

I voted for Romo each time, and was consistent about it. My belief is that he knows this offense far better than Prescott does, and has the whole playbook at his disposal. I understand why they didn't bench Prescott, but I believed that Romo was the better player/option at that time.

Now, even though I still feel that way, I think the distraction factor would be far worse if they made a change. I would, though, not hesitate to take Prescott out if he's off the reservation and they fall significantly behind.

But, this game is going to be won on the backs of the offensive line and Elliott. Would love to see him between 30 and 40 carries in this game - it would be a good sign of them asserting dominance at the LOS.

I agree to me this season should be considered GREAT even if we lose on Sunday. I truly expected 6 wins this season. 13 wins is insane. If we win Sunday it's just icing on the Cake
Well I want some icing !!

I disagree...because, to a man, I don't think you will find anyone in that locker room that really thinks the ride is ending on Sunday. This is still mostly the same team that came very close to the title game just two years ago...and this game is undoubtedly a bit personal for them. I think this will be a huge disappointment for the organization and it will raise the issue of coaching decisions regarding Romo should they not at least make it to the title game. Wildcard and divisional games are like kissing your sister right now...and it's been far too long since a Dallas Cowboys team has done some real damage in the playoffs...that is why Emmitt and Michael are on this "go get your ring" tear. This is an opportunity to make amends for 2007.

One and done in the playoffs would be hideous considering the type of success they have had this year. If a player is lucky, he will get maybe two shots at a championship (making it to a Superbowl) in his entire career...most only one...and I think only Romo and Witten remain from that '07 team.

So who has made Stephen A. back down? Who has beat him in a debate?
Oh, and slurp! ;)

ESPN did a great job of making him back down on his domestic violence comments.
I thought we were talking about fellow debaters?
And what he said wasn't bad. It's just that ESPN was super sensitive about the issue of domestic violence. But what Stephen A. said is true. A woman doesn't have a right to put her hands on a man because she doesn't know the man she's hitting and whether he'll tolerate being hit.
