Michael Irvin turned 60 today

Kudos to him I guess somehow against all odds he made it this far without being permanently incarcerated.

:starspin:Happy Birthday, Michael Irvin!!!:starspin:

I still remember. It was early summer of 1995. My twin brother was working for American Airlines out of Valley International Airport in Harlingen, Texas. It was a Saturday morning, I was off of work, and I went to pick up my brother (his car was getting fixed in the shop) since he had worked graveyard shift. He was getting out and 9 a.m. that morning.

I showed up to pick up my brother. Went inside the airport, and my brother called me to the back. His co-workers escorted me to the back offices, and lo and behold, guess who had just flown in and was sitting in American Airlines' head terminal office taking pictures with my brother and his co-workers?

#88 Michael Irvin!!!!!! :flagwave::bow::yourock::starspin:

Michael Irvin was awesome to hang out with for a while at the airport. He hung out with us there as he waited for a limousine to show up and drive him across the Rio Grande Valley westward towards McAllen, Texas where he was going to be a special guest at one of the biggest dance studios in the area at the time. He also was going to meet up with the City of McAllen's mayor, County heads and other officials throughout the day before showing up as special guest at the dance studio that night.

Michael Irvin was so awesome to briefly hang out with. I can't believe my ex-wife kept my pictures which I had taken of my twin brother and I with Michael. So upsetting. What freaked me out was when Michael Irvin invited my brother and I to go join him that Saturday night, but we couldn't make it since it was my grandfather's 71st birthday, and we had plans to be there at his party since he had helped raise us.

I've never told anyone this story, but I thought I should share it now. I wonder if Michael Irvin would remember that day? Great Cowboy experience!
