Michael Trigg

Yep
Has the takent
Only question will be maturity
Dak throws a ton of balls to TEs, he can become a star if he clicks with Dak
And how's he gonna get out there ahead of Ferg, Schoon and Spann-Ford? I mean, it's fun to dream about these guys coming in and taking over but let's be real. He would need an injury swarm to get anywhere near the field. We still have Sam Williams on the team so there's a chance!

After watching Martellus Bennett waste all the natural physical abilities needed to be a HOF TE, and put together an incredibly below average career, my hopes aren't high.

The percentage of leopards who find a way to change their spots is low, but fingers crossed for this young man.
Wasn't he on the Giants superbowl team? Not saying that excuses his time with the boys, but Witten alsostopped his progress in Dallas by being a straight up warrior.

Could be the Schoonmaker replacement. or even Spann-Ford.
I know many like him over Schoonmaker, and has shown some potential. But I think they want to see more in the passing game.
Schoonmaker in the last year of his contract. I doubt the offer him a 2nd contract. Or can they even trade him for a late round draft pick. Maybe during TC.
well at this point it is not hard to beat out Schoonmaker, but I really like this kid. If he keeps his head on straight, we may have a starter in the mix.

we have lived enough life to know things happen
He is young and immature but if he keeps his head down and puts in the work then good things will happen

USC
OLE MISS
BAYLOR - All American

Yeah, he's a baller!

He looks better than Marty B

If he’s so good why not drafted ?
It's what some of us are trying to figure out..........I have read Brugler's entire profile ( background and all ). Nothing here negatively jumps out ..........as to why he was undrafted.

Brugler

Weaknesses

  • Plays high in and out of breaks
  • Lacks consistency as a route runner and tends to prematurely reveal intentions
  • Doesn’t always play with the same urgency mid-route
  • Tied for FBS-lead among tight ends in 2025 with seven drops
  • Wasn’t consistently the aggressor at the point of attack in the run game
  • Late to lock on and sustain, which leaves him falling off blocks (called for holding against Cincinnati and UCF)
  • Battled through bruised left shoulder for much of 2025 season; missed five games as a sophomore at Ole Miss with broken right collarbone (Oct. 2022); missed six games as a freshman at USC after spraining right knee (Oct. 2021)
  • Served one-game suspension for “disciplinary matter” at both Ole Miss (Nov. 2022) and at Baylor (Sept. 2024); involved in sideline incident with former Baylor athletic director Mack Rhoades in 2025 — Rhoades is alleged to have taken exception to a gold, long-sleeved undershirt worn by Trigg during a home game against Arizona State (Rhoades’ role in the incident was investigated by the university)
  • Maturity has been questioned by NFL teams (NFL scout: “I know how much he likes football, but he needs hard coaching … and you hope he develops better consistency, on and off the field.”)

No PR at all.....we are just trying to understand how/why a kid with such strong talent goes undrafted. Anything meaningful you wanna add?
Nothing more than you are being presented with usda choice chuck roast and told that it’s A5 wagyu.
