I think most conceeded it's poor tact.

That wasn't enough for the witch hunt. They actually claimed it's completely out of bounds and irrelevant for a team to inquire about the family and friends that surround a player.

Oh.

Well.

Now I feel guilty for using the rolly-eyed smiley.

My bad yo.

That doesn't quite fit with the whole "uninvited guest" report that was coming out when this initially happened.

He said the owner released a surveilance tape and that was on it. I'm only reporting what he was reporting.

Vick is as dumb as I thought he was.....

Interesting to see how this plays out.

"He was who we thought he was,... and they let him off the hook!" :laugh2:

Nope. If this was the case then ALL NFL teams would be guilty because you know as well as I do they know plenty about you and your family before you board the plane to said football team. So Him outright asking, in the fashion he did, was the issue.

If you throw a birthday party open to the public . . . how can there be an "uninvited guest?"

They are court-ordered not to associate. I assume it would be like a restraining order where you can't knowingly put yourself into a situation where that other person would be.

Can I just make a request now.

When the Eagles cut him and he's on the market we all know someone is going to come on here and say the Cowboys should sign him.

Can we ban that person for life?

:laugh1:

I can't see where anyone would be in shock that Michael Vick is a liar. The man lived a lie for years as he was running a dog killing underworld while walking around as if he was doing nothing wrong.

He's a deviant person to the core.

And I do believe he was sincere in his apology. He was sorry. Sorry that he was caught and that all his money and fame was taken away and turned upside down.

But for the last year or so most of that was returned to him because this country always forgives people after bashing them for a good amount of time.

All he was doing on this night was acting on his instincts. His ego was slapped and he was going to take action. Whether he did himself or he did indirectly by asking someone to do it for him.

That thug MV would not have lasted a minute on Vince Lombardini's or Tom Landry's teams.
Well, at least not on Lombardini's team.

and he would have lasted plenty on Jimma's team unless he fumbled.

You think Vince Lombardini didn't have some hard living individuals on his team? Back then it was ok for a man to drink heavily and smoke away.

DUIs did not exist like today, especially for a local hero. Do you really think an officer would arrest a member of the Packers back in the day?

I even doubt that dog fighting would have netted Vick any prison time back in Vince's day...

Every day that goes by its less and less likely that Vick will get cut. Is there even an investigation on Vick by the police? I know that the Eagles do not have jack at QB.

It is not the Eagles Vick has to worry about. It is the NFL (Roger Goodell) and his parole officer...

The police were not investigating but now that it has come out that Vick lied they may open one up...

He said he left the club well before the shooting. Video turned in proves he left right before the shooting, 3 minutes at most.

Fabijan said that two cars carrying Vick, a Philadelphia Eagles quarterback from Newport News, "and his entourage" drove off from in front of the restaurant at 2:07 a.m. Three minutes later, shots rang out from the direction the cars had gone, Fabijan said.

"You can see everybody duck at 2:10," Fabijan said of bystanders on the video. "I'm not saying that Michael Vick did the shooting. But he did not leave (long) before" as Woodward said his client told police Monday.

There's such a thing as tact.

You don't ask someone if their mother is a prostitute.

Not even if the interviewee says that his father was a pimp, and that his mother worked for his father?

I don't understand why Goodell insist on continuing his investigation stop persecuting the man already.

Who cares, Vick wasn't the shooter...

This was not part of Goodell's investigation. This was just the owner of the club coming out on his own.

How do you know Vick is not the shooter? Because he said so? He also said he had left the club an hour before the incident. Turns out that was a lie. Plus you don't have to be the actual shooter to be charged with something. If they can prove you had something to do with the shooting you can get in some trouble.
