I suppose you could if you were to inject in some lipid form. Its just not soluble in water. Well the active ingredients that is.

Right. If there was a way to inject THC, dope fiends would have figured it out already.

Scratch that, dealers would have figured it out, and told the dope fiends about it to keep them high and keep the product on the market.

This was not part of Goodell's investigation. This was just the owner of the club coming out on his own.

How do you know Vick is not the shooter? Because he said so? He also said he had left the club an hour before the incident. Turns out that was a lie. Plus you don't have to be the actual shooter to be charged with something. If they can prove you had something to do with the shooting you can get in some trouble.

Yep. Conspiracy to commit a felony.

Sources tell Game 102.1 in Virginia Beach that former Dolphins WR Marcus Vick was involved in the shooting that injured his and Michael Vick's cousin, Quanis Phillips, last Thursday night.
The extent of Marcus' involvement is unknown, but we can't say we'd be the least bit surprised if he played a major role considering his track record. The last Rotoworld post done on Marcus, in August of 2009, was from a report that he'd been sentenced to 20 days in jail for a probation violation stemming from eluding police. He's been in trouble with the law several times dating back to Virginia Tech. Marcus also has a history of gun-related arrests. Jun. 30 - 6:57 pm et

Local rumors here in Virginia Beach are his brother Marcus is directly involved in the shooting.

Edit: see the above post. Greg Rosenthal from PFT was doing a radio interview with the '757 Club' on our local affiliate. Not the host, but his side kick stated that his "sources" said Marcus was involved. They also asked that GR mention them if they referenced the article on their website.

No meat or substance was given. And I really don't know how credible the sidekick is. The 757 Club gets decent guests sometimes (had Vic Carrucci on yesterday -- then again, they have Brandon Noble on every week so . . . ), but it kinda has the feel of a low-budget hack show. I wouldn't even listen, but the only alternative is Tony Maccurio on ESPN Radio. To say he sucks is being polite.

Would not be surprised. People in Blacksburg, VA and people I knew at Virginia Tech while both Vick brothers attended have said that Marcus Vick was a much worse human being than Michael Vick.

If Marcus is seen in the videos leaving with Michael...you can pretty much kiss his career goodbye.

I am not a biochemist but I imagine injecting any regular oil would probably kill you. Its really not that hard to purify it to an oil.

There are already purified extracts that you can take in pill form. Again I am not a biochemist but I imagine it is not the same as injecting the water soluble powders in the way the it is metabolized.

What an epic fall from the mountaintop. The Vick story is pretty tragic...what a freakin idiot. Ddin't he at one time have a 100+ million contract? I think he may end up broke at age 31 or so with no real upside.

I know some of that crowd (who know the Vicks) and what you say is true.
Over the years--especially a few year before Michael's dog idiocy--most people who knew him said he was a pretty good guy. His bother has had the rep of being a spoiled weenie all the way in high school.

Except the cops aren't investigating Vick. The only person doing their investigation on Vick is Goodell. I like how this footage shows up a week afterwards....I'm call bull on this vid saying it's doctored and that the Owner is a pretty scummy person to wait a week to come public with this video. He must of gotten a lot of flak from his wife.

Report: Marcus Vick could be involved in shooting
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on June 30, 2010 6:36 PM ET
So I went on the Game 102.1 FM in Virginia Beach this afternoon to talk about Michael Vick. Before the segment was over, the hosts (Johnny D. and Bartley Barefoot) proceeded to break some news.

The radio station has sources that Marcus Vick, Michael's brother, was involved in the shooting that took place after Vick's 30th birthday party last Friday morning. It's uncertain what "involved" means here precisely. ESPN's Adam Schefter said earlier on Wednesday that he believes the shooter will turn himself in to authorities soon.

I was surprised initially to hear the Marcus Vick connection, and couched my response with a lot of "ifs" and "possiblys" regarding the situation. Barefoot had no such equivocation, saying his sources were sure Marcus Vick was involved.

We'll continue to track the story, as will a growing number of national sources. ESPN led their NFL coverage today on air and online with Michael Vick's timeline problem.

The longer this story drags on, the more uncomfortable it grows for Vick, not to mention the Eagles and Roger Goodell.

Vick could really use that shooter to come forward quickly.

I hope that's sarcasm because I have no idea what that is suppose to mean. The guy was shoot and I truely believe that Vick is not that stupid to do it, but getting shoot even in the leg can be deadly. Ask Shawn Taylors family about that!

Being shot in the leg isn't that bad. Some players even go so far as to do it to themselves in nightclubs for fun.

Har har.

THC can be injected, but it's a complicated process that "Dope fiends" arn't going to be doing any time soon. It takes expensive equipment found in medical labs. It's not like cooking up meth or crack.

Then again, there is no reason to inject THC. After a certain point, more doesn't do anything except make you go to sleep.

Furthermore, if you DID inject THC, provided whatever it was made with was as non toxic as marijuana is, it would remove 100% of all negative effects you get from smoking Marijuana. It would technically be safer than smoking it as Weed is not toxic to the human body. It's safer than Alcohol, and Hamburgers, by a lot. The smoke is the only thing bad for your lungs, because it's smoke, not because it's marijuana.

I get it now. You are purposely acting stupid in order to inject comedy(not marijuana) into this thread. Well done. You have made me laugh heartily.

The NFL is not just "any business".

This thinking is why fans are so off base so often. They tend to think that pro sports was created out of some altruistic desire to entertain the pubic. It wasn't. It was created to make money!

Sure it's a different product than other businesse sell, but they are still selling a product the same way Coca Cola and Exxon and Microsoft are. Do you really think that because you personally feel a closer attachment to the NFL than to Coca Cola, Exxon and Microsoft that you are entitled to anything more than any other consumer?

The NFL isn't even a public company like the others, so they don't have the same SEC disclosure requirements. The NFL does it for marketing and damage control.

If the NFL wants to protect itself, then they must do so Legally and Constitutionally.

Yeah, so ..........? If you have any evidence the NFL is acting illegally or unconstitutionally then spit it out. Otherwise, what in the world are you talking about?

I think most conceeded it's poor tact.

That wasn't enough for the witch hunt. They actually claimed it's completely out of bounds and irrelevant for a team to inquire about the family and friends that surround a player.

This has nothing to do with Mike Vick ...... and is not even close to the same thing.
