On PTI, Wilbon and Kornheiser were discussing the NFC East. Kornheiser was saying the Cowboys and Eagles are good. Wilbon said none of the East teams are good. He mentioned Minnesota and New Orleans as the good teams and basically trashed the whole NFC East. Wilbon was dissing Dallas and Kornheiser said "you never say anything good about the Cowboys. You hate Romo." Then Wilbon responded, "I don't hate Romo. I hate the Cowboys! I hate the Cowboys!"

Well, at least he admitted it on national cable. Unprofessional, but true.

Real unprofessional.

So now we know that he's biased and has no credibility talking about the Cowboys.

He does know the NFC East has the best winning% in the league, right?

I seen it live when he said it. It didn't phase me because I already knew it and I assume most of us already knew it. But to come out and say it seems a bit unprofessional. From now on, whatever he has to say regarding the Dallas Cowboys is irrelevant to me. I never really have heard a professional sportswriter who is supposed to be unbiased in his views especially on TV come out and admit that they hate a team.

They've also played a pretty cake schedule thus far.

I don't see PTI has a very "serious" and professional show. I guess ESPN can let this slide. I don't have a problem with it.

I wish all football talking heads would admit what their biases were.

Shocking.

I wonder how many shills on this board have been lambasted for saying that they think Wilbon has a bias towards the Cowboys....

I'm sure he's the only one though....

That being said...I still like Wilbon. At least he's honest.

Living here, it's been apparent Wilbon hates the Boys. He grudgingly give the 90's super bowl team props, but moreso Emmitt. He's one of those sportswriters that thinks he's a cut above because he "knows" Jordan et al., as he never misses an opportunity to portray a buddy buddy relationship with certain elite black athletes.

He's from Chicago and never lets anybody fail to know how he loves the Bears and that's his team whenever they are doing well, although I haven't heard him make any references to his Bears lately. Wonder why?

He's actually a pretty good writer when he wants to be, but definitely thinks his s*** doesn't stink. If you ever see him, you can tell he's one of those who were probably seriously unpopular and picked on in school as he's pretty fat, dumpy, and everytime I've ever seen him at a sporting event, stuffing his face.

I used to read him a lot, but now he's got a sort of blog type deal with the Post, so he rarely even writes real stories anymore, so I basically ignore whatever he's putting out these days. Can't even stand to watch him on PTI.
