Mickey: Do Not Minimize Dak's Availability

Pour yourself a beer and return to crying in it.

Learn English and not for complaining. The fight in football is with a football as your weapon. Quit the 30 decade calendar when evaluating results of fighting with a football weapon.

Don't then use accumulated trophies to do one's evaluation. It is football, not social merit as a fan.

Insult...go back to sleep and drink your beer. That's your filter...

:muttley: :facepalm::lmao::popcorn:

BOLD above > Oh, snap! This coming from you? lmao

A HC with little to know authority, can not be a leader by definition.
Exactly right and with the owner performing the duties and leveraging all the authority of the head coach has a crippling impact on your team and franchise. Jerry's pitiful playoff record the past three decades speaks for itself.

Jerry's legacy will be 1) Jimmy made 100% of the football decisions that created a 3x championship dynasty (Jerry gets credit for hiring him and including in Jimmy's contract that Jimmy made ALL football decisions) and 2) the three decades and counting inability to win a measly divisional round playoff game in the salary cap era. Jerry has been killing this franchise for 30+ years. You know the owner doesn't care about winning when he defiantly chooses to blind his own players at every afternoon home game.

The names of quarterbacks dropped in this quarterback thread so far:

Joe Milton
Patrick Mahomes
Josh Allen
Jalen Hurts
Brock Purdy
Trevor Lawrence
Roger Staubach
Tony Romo
Lamar Jackson
Fran Tarkenton
Peyton Manning
John Elway
Cooper Rush
Will Grier
Mike White
Dan Marino
Alex Smith
Tom Brady
Ben Roethlisberger
Troy Aikman
Arch Manning
Trey Lance
Brett Favre
Matthew Stafford
Eli Manning
Matt Ryan
Nick Foles
Trent Dilfer
Brad Johnson
Jim McMahon

30 (currently) may be a CowboysZone record for any thread made to discuss a Dallas Cowboys quarterback, not involving a breakdown of comparative statisitics. Ever. I am 95% sure it is after reading nearly a quarter century of them, lol.
I’ll mention Terry Bradshaw. Just for old-time sakes.

You have been biased for just how long? 30 years...woo hoo. NO good football per you, without Jerry. That should hold in Miami as well ... but doesn't. Make it up now.

Oh, the food sucked and took $1M to dine.

I wonder if a new cadence for Dak will matter now? I'm betting it does matter when mixed into execution now.

Dak saying ' hut hut ' .. instead of ' here we go ' will fix everything .
 :flagwave: No, it's the hut, Hut ... Hut Green Gray Oranges...'smart guy.'

Timing and predictable do matter even if biased and stereotyped as you fully show. Just always say one hike with opponent responded always.

The Head Coach stated Dak needs to work on technique. I'll just listen to him ... Getting onto a team standard instead of fan insult.

You missed the entire point I think. It’s not what he says, it’s when he was saying it, pre-snap read by the defense knew he was going to put the ball into play. Does that clarify it a little better for you?

this is the average mindset of most cowboy fans, drives me a little insane also. Actually, the mindset of most people, lol they don’t get it.

Mickey talks about Dak's injury and some observations when he was on crutches. Then to now being on the field for OTA's.
As Dak said, he is not cleared for contact. And does not expect to be for another few months, supposedly in time for TC. Which when he said that, TC is about 2 months away.

He also talks about how important it is to have your starting QB the entire season.
Last year 10 of the 14 teams had their starters for all 17 games. 2 teams held out their QB's the last game of the season, so had them for 16 games.
2 teams lost their QB for 2 games, Hurts with a concussion theist 2 games. Love with a knew injury for 2 games.
No, he was not saying if Dak stayed healthy, they would have made the playoffs.

He is propping up Dak a bit with some stats, and he is right. However, we fans still measure success by playoff wins and getting to the NFCCG for once. That is where he fails at in this article. Of course he will not write that. I post that for the Mickey haters. And I don't blame them.

Dak wins the games he should.

Rarely wins the games he shouldn’t.

And goes deer in the headlights when the playoff lights get bright.

He should hire this guy

His rookie year during the regular season?
I thought that was one of his better accomplishments, just so you know I don’t think he’s the answer either. I like Joe Milton, but I’m not sure he’s the answer either.

Certainly has never beaten GB during the postseason
Not many teams have I’ll never forget. I think one of the coaches got knocked out when Jimmy Johnson played against Green Bay in the playoffs. That was a tough game also. Troy Michael Emmett.
