Crayton is so reliable. I don’t understand why we have not resigned him. I wouldn’t mind resigning Julius either, but i may be of the minority.

Romo is definitely quick enough for a 5 wide set, and we should keep them guessing. Also, I want to see Romo mix it up more. To me it seems like at the beginning of the season he mixed it up well. Now, it seems one person has a big day, either Jason or TO.
When it's 1st and 10, instead of trying to run it 5 yards, Glenn can kill anyone on a 5 yd pattern, and if you need him deep, Crayton simply runs an out, Glenn runs at the safety, straight to the corner.Doomsday101;1826585 said:Last season TO and Glenn manned the outside and Crayton played in the slot. I don't see Dallas sticking Glenn in the slot when going over the middle is not one of Glenn strong points especially coming off the injury. Glenn provides the deep threat and when he returns hopefully that will continue to be his role

You won't always play Glenn in the slot BTW, just a lot, as you do TO. You simply take away your best cover corners when you're able to work a WR in the slot. Also we could start Glenn in the slot, motion him out, there are so many things you could do because of Glenn's speed.
I won't try and convince you, and neither of us is a coach. I would simply start Glenn at WR opposite TO, and when we bring in the 3 WR set, I would have TO or Glenn work the slot. 1 works the outside, the other works the slot, and switch it around.Doomsday101;1826606 said:Glenn has never been a slot WR I don't know why you would think he will be now? Crayton is just much better suited at playing the slot. I agree with you on TO but then again TO is a big strong WR who can take the contact over the middle Glenn is not.

Doomsday101;1826722 said:I don't think it will take them much time to get a feel for each other.
Woods;1826737 said:Hopefully they can do that over the next 2-3 weeks.
The last thing we need is for the QB and WR to mis-communicate during the playoffs . . . . leading to potential turnovers.
Doomsday101;1826751 said:I do think it is important that Glenn see some playing time before the playoffs come so that these timing issues can addressed. I also think Glenn will only see spot duty, rotating in and out of the game. I can't imagine his endurance level will be that high given the time missed. Even rotating in and out of the game I think he will provides a dangerous weapon into the lineup.
