Mickey: make no bones about run intentions

Back in schottenheimer's day, defenses played you straight up. They rarely blitzed, so you could run the ball and run the ball and run the ball until they we're forced to stop you.
Nowadays you're facing anywhere up to 6 guys on the line of scrimmage and blitz as much as 50% of the Downs, it's a whole different ball game. You've got to be able to make them respect your passing game. Otherwise, they're gonna choke you out.

That is my prediction, RB, QB, and WR in first 3 rounds.
It depends on what happens , who is taken early etc, so I cant say what round.
I liked hampton, I read cowboys do too, also ewers and golden, but they may or may not have
a shot to get them.
I think they may trade back a few spots too.
I think you got 2 right. Chances are slim you’ll see a qb before pick 171. Not that I oppose it I just believe they believe there are bigger fish to fry atm.

Jeanty doesn't need a great line in front of him. That's the beauty of him. But he's the only RB I'd draft in rd 1 because of that. To me, the drop off from him to the next group is significant. He's generational on film. The question might be the competition level he faced. That part scares me a bit. We need to draft 2 backs. One bruiser like Mafah or Mullings, then a take it to the house guy. In the meantime, we must solidify the Oline or it won't matter much.
I honestly don't think there's much difference between Jeanty and Hampton. I actually think from ready that Hampton may be a better pass protector. I actually prefer Hampton. But, I won't be upset if we took Jeanty. I wouldn't be upset if we took a WR in the 1st and then Henderson from OSU in the 2nd. But if we can go down a just a little and take Hampton...that's my choice.

Guess it comes down to which style or flavor you prefer, especially as far as RB. Either guy helps us. Hampton reminds me of Eddie George more than DeMarco Murray . The amazing thing is for a man his size, he can hit it and go quick. He's a North South guy that sees it, then has the ability to go the distance.Same with Mafah. Mafah seeks you out and wants to hurt you lol. I luv that. Mullings is very upright for a bigger back. Reminds me of a Shawn Alexander and Eddie George combo. He was much quicker and elusive on tape than I expected for a guy his size.Deep class.

Henderson reminds me of Dorsett. He's a gazelle, a glider. Silky smooth runner. Surprisingly great between the tackles. Might be underrated.

That is 23 playoff games in how many years?
Also need to look at who beat him and how far did they go.

The thing is to win against the good teams in playoffs, you need to be able to run and pass,
and have a decent to great defense.
Too bad that Dallas does not have an elite quarterback so that Dallas can pass confidently instead of being concerned about a pick six.
