Mickey: No Doubt About This Win Now Mentality

Do they need another player?
I don't think they do at this point. They need to see what they have now. Then go from there.

Thee other thing is, they do not have the draft capital to make a trade. Unless they dip into the 2028 picks. And many teams may not do that at this point.
another quality D lineman or two never hurts. Let them wear down the opponent's O line with fresh substitutions.

Where in the roster will the put them. Lose out on a promising draft pick?
Still build long term with the draft. Not giving away draft picks for aging vet players.

The Chiefs under Andy and the front office are 3-2 in SB with Mahomes and a yearly no name for the most part run game so Andy and co go out and get Kenneth Walker fresh off his own SB MVP year .

I don’t buy this “ all in “ nonsense I’m hearing in Dallas . This should be a franchise that’s “ all in “ every year by being smart in free agency and even if you’re drafting in the middle or in the 20’s every round sound picks .

This isn’t the Bengals or Browns this franchise way too comfortable with its past . John Lynch Howie Roseman heck even the Bears under Ben Johnson and the young GM are building .

Lance Mingo Milton and now Jones what has it gotten except lost picks .

Not so fast.
Lance yes. But it was a decent chance at the time. Fans refuse to accept that.
Mingo still looks like he can contribute..
Milton still has potential.
Jones has potential, how about we wait and see.

Lance has never done anything in the NFL the 49ers were gleeful they got a 4 for him .

Mingo has yet to contribute to this offense in year three .

Milton was cut in favor of a journeyman .

Jones is the hope . Hope that by trading a 3 ( Barham ) territory he can beat out Steele and or possibly Guyton .

Would it be insensitive to suggest that we all know the reason for this "All-in" season. How many more seasons will Jerry Jones be the GM of the Dallas Cowboys?

Was that diplomatic enough?

Jery is attempting to do the only thing he believes will give him legitimacy in the capacity of someone that made all the football-related decisions.

You see it differently than I do.
That’s ok. But they were 4th and 6th round picks.
Most likely whoever they would have drafted you would be saying the same thing about.
So it really doesn’t matter.

But we seen good signs from Milton and Mingo regardless of your evaluation.
Jones remains to be seen, but he was a 1st round pick.

Why is Gonzalez on the market ? Contact squabble ?
He’s not.

Pats have offered him the highest AAV for a CB in history, they’re negotiating upfront cash and guaranteed money

He missed some early training camp with an ankle but has since returned and hasn’t asked for a trade and even if he somehow sits out, he’s got two years left and the Pats aren’t remotely interested in trading him.

Lance was bad, some fans refused to see that and we're projecting.

Mingo was a bad trade, he was down to the 6th WR on his previous team. And you are hopeful he may contribute...to special teams perhaps. So a 4th rounder for a special teams player.

Milton is 26 and on PS.... what potential?

None were good trades.

Jazz

Milton cleared waivers and is on the practice squad

Mingo almost got cut and last year had five (5!) targets and is only here for special teams and an injury apocalypse

I know you’re an optimist, but neither of those picks have come close to paying off.

Yes it does matter...you have potential with a 4th round pick. We traded it for known failed players in hope of what? Finding gold i.mn somebody else's garbage!!

do we not have a 2027 number 1?>??

I was going to say he’s young he’s got contract left why trade a super talented pass defender . I wouldn’t think Vrabel is thinking any of this I guess people on this board think you can pry anyone away if you offer them your entire draft .
