How the heck did Jimmy not have the talent?

Just alot more talent in 91 and what i pointed to, some of those players werent wiht the cowboys 89-90. Talent base wasnt there.

Now think about this; what happened in 91, with talent not quiet as good as talent in 2007, the cowboys won a playoff game against the bears. Did the Cowboys win a playoff game in 2007? No!

Thats what I am ticked off about towards Brooking(dont misunderstand me, I like him, but when he dishes jimmy johnson and says wade is a better winning coach then jimmy johnson) then i tend to get upset.

You dont dish a super bowl winninng coach. It counts as squat with wins and losses during the season from september to november, etc. Its what you do in the playoffs, etc. Bottom Line! Dont dare try to put wade in the same category as tom landry or jimmy johnson saying wade is a better coach. What has wade won in Dallas, Nothing, zippo, till he wins some playoff games and big games like sunday against the giants in NY, then is squat!

As far as outscoring a team, in points in a game, when you do that dont you normally win a game when you outscore the opposing team? Duh!

Like say 33-31 or 28-27, etc.

I'm not saying thats the way to win and keep winning, you have to have a good defense, to win championships to me, but you have to be able to score too like the cowboys did in the 90's.

Like the old saying, Championship Defenses wins games! Something like that.
Like the Cowboys had in the 70's, or in 77, or in the 90's, or the steelers iron curtain, or the dolphins no name defense, etc....

Brooking knows the history. He is just frustrated, joe. He's trying to get people off of Wade's back. But you're right. Jimmy started with a lot less talent and built that team from the ground up. It was a beautiful thing to witness. Too bad his ego (and Jerry's) got in the way of what would've been.

And Jimmy had no salary cap. They signed whoever they wanted. Wade can not do the same.
