... throwing water on the fire (as usual):storm: . He is so narrow minded.

Nobody thinks Romo is gonna fix everything that's wrong with this team, just the part that he has control of. He's selling the fans short and talking down to us again.

Also said rain expected in Carolina.

Anybody ever thought of the list of TV/print reporters who want us to fail? Marhall Faulk of NFL Network is moving up my list.

I like the new guys who do the show on Sundays and Mondays (less Rich Eison the better). Now Marshall Faulk never has anything positive to say about the boys. He has this holier than thou look about himself that makes me want to snatch him out of the TV screen by that milk dud head of his:rams: . Same way I feel about Mickey Mouse.

Anyone giddy about our QB change really is clue less. Yes we hopefully will get better QB play, and a more mobile and pass rush alert QB will cut down on sacks. BUT there are still problems with the O line, pass rush, and secondary that have NOTHING to do with the QB.

Who really cares about what reporters say? I would rather make them eat crow than be the annoying "media darling". By the way, Mickey Spagnola is usually overly optimistic, he works for the Dallas Cowboys and is a writer on their official website.

I agree with you. He also doesn't play in the secondary.

And he doesn't drop passes on 4th down that could turn a game around...

:lmao2: I forgot about that Juke99....guess he would have to be in two places at the same time to pull that off.

First Mickey gets crititicized for being a "team mouthpiece" and company man, and now he gets criticized for disagreeing with a team move.

Which is it?

Not really. The diminutive Mr. Vick has been catching and dropping his own passes for years now. He uses d-linemen as backboards.

Romo should be cut because he can't long snap either... :chop:

Seriously though. I'm optimistic about Romo, but am in no way expecting him to succeed. Not only this year, but ever. I guess you could say I'm guardedly optimistic. There is no question with the current situation we arn't worse off with him than having Bledsoe. (Well, we could be but then both routes lead to a losing season so we have to play our cards and see what we have with Romo.

Its simple. Mick is paid by Jerry. Jerry since pre-season has been favoring Bledsoe, calling Romo basically a rookie (Maybe has something to do with...Henson was Jerry's boy, Romo was BP's).

Now that BP has pulled Bledsoe in favor of Romo, we all have heard Jerry is now "downgrading" his expectations for the year.

Mick is just elaborating and echoing his boss's thoughts.

Yeah, I hope we can continue keeping QB's under 200 yrds passing and at 46% passing completion rate and hopefully keep those refs in our way. Because if we can do that we can keep complaining about our secondary.

Mick's not bad. And he's in a no win situation. If he's positive about something, he's a homer; if he criticizes, he's a hater.

I like Mick most of the time, except when he´s talking about QBs.
