Mike & Mike in morning reported that Javon Walker wants out...

Walker hasn't ever really been a #1 receiver.....

In his prime and when healthy, he was definitely a #1 receiver.

In truth, he's actually what you guys need. A big WR who can move the chains.

Maybe the Skins can send Denver Thrash in an even trade?

P.S. Happy New Year to all!

He always wants out. He'll want out of here in 2 or 3 years.

If we could get him for cheap, and can pass the physical, I might definitely consider it.

And if he wants out after 2 or 3 years, that'll be fine. I'm going to assume we'll be taking a WR in the first day this year. 2 or 3 years should fit the time frame for when the receiver we draft will be able to contribute as a #1 or #2.

Javon Walker reportedly told the Broncos that the team is not a good fit for him and he thinks it would be best if they part ways.

This is exactly what the Cowboys need; a great WR to complement TO for next season. We could send them Bobby Carpenter and a 3rd round pick.

Get er done, Jerrah!!

Why are people so quick to get rid of carpenter? I remember the same talk about james after he didnt really play much or well when he did in 03 and 04....He has been pretty good since then.

And trading a player and a 3rd for cry baby walker who sits out when he has a hang nail is nuts.

We have 8 draft picks, if the work has been done they should be able to identify players in the draft to fill our areas of need and future need. That is what the draft is for, for the most part free agency is the suckers bet.

We're talking the Skins, 2 draft picks is more likely.

aint that the truth, I cant wait to see what the jets do with that pick the skins sent them for kendall.

I am going to fall out of my chair if the skins miss out on another trent cole on the second day of the draft because they just throw picks away.

And Kendall has played great ball this year. so...

But I get the joke, maybe even package up Landry and Portis for Glenn and Carpenter.

NO!!!
He is cancer and can't stay healthy
First Packers, then Broncos. He wants to be number 1, but in our ofense he won't be number 1.

That's what bothers me when I hear his name. Red flag.

Kendall has been a good investment. Thomas may have to fight for a job next year.

Portis/Landry for Glenn and Carp is a done deal! :laugh2:

I'd rather go after Bernard Berrian if he hits Free Agency. He can really spread the field and open it up for TO and Crayton.

He's gotta stop droppin' so many balls though.

I wouldn't mind that guy wearing a blue star at all... He's a burner.

What is he 6-3 ? He must be pushing 30 at this point. I would rather take a chance with a young guy, or try to get Roy Williams or the like.

I'd rather have Larry Fitzgerald from AZ than Roy Willilams, Roy has been fragile his pro career.

before he went to denver, i wanted walker over TO. i was wrong on that one but if he wants out *again* i don't want him. he's always hurt and unhappy after a few years.

A big fat NO on Berrian. After watching him this season, his hands at BEST are average. No thanks.

Walker didn't play for most of the season, and when he didn't play he was completely ineffective. I wouldn't sign him for much above minimum plus incentives.

i know what you meant, but this was :laugh2:
