well dick vermeil I mean our coach says he's a crier, i'm sure that's a great thing to do at that time. Hell the way you cry when i'm at my mod meetings because you miss me is something nobody's ever seen before!!!What's next?
Daily Kum Ba Yah meetings?
you taking steps to be a mod here, young man?Hell the way you cry when i'm at my mod meetings
Step aside everyone, I'm going to pin this post as the POST of the day!!!!!!!!!!!The problem with Brian Schottenheimer as head coach has nothing to do with his abilities as a HC to address the deep and lingering culture issues that have plagued this team for a long time.
THE problem is having an owner who refuses to recognize HE IS THE PROBLEM. Jerry could have hired the ghost of Vince Lombardi to coach this team and inspire the players to focus 100% on winning. It wouldn’t matter. Because Jerry is the problem and he is not focused 100% on winning.
If Jerry truly loved and respected the wonderful history, reputation and fan base of America’s Team, he would have stepped aside a long time ago. Anyone can now see HE is the problem.
Until Jerry is no longer in charge, I do not expect major improvements on the field. It doesn’t matter who coaches. Because until Jerry Jones is gone, the HC will always be a pawn and a figurehead.
I'm more so tired of hearing the same comments of "they have a winning history etc etc they've been very good etc etc" Uhhh I wouldn't agreeEvery new HC comes in, and we start hearing about culture...this team cycles the same ish over and over with new ppl.
I think having seven different head coaches since Jimmy/Barry and no championship game appearances since then shows us that. Can't blame the coach or the players when that aspect of the team has changed several times over. The one consistency throughout it all is the front office. The problem with Brian Schottenheimer as head coach has nothing to do with his abilities as a HC to address the deep and lingering culture issues that have plagued this team for a long time.

The only good crying football coach I ever saw was Dick Vermeil. It was authentic, real...and it worked for HIM. He was 1 of 1...well dick vermeil I mean our coach says he's a crier, i'm sure that's a great thing to do at that time. When organizations have problems in their culture (defined as “the way we do things around here”) talk is the least important aspect of change. So which big star is getting jettisoned? You can't have a culture issue without your biggest stars either a) being part of the problem or b) being complacent/negligent towards the problem(s).
I assume that Micah and Dak are safe...for whatever reasons. That leaves the people already "let go" plus CeeDee, Malik Hooker, Treyvon Diggs, etc...which one is being let go to "fix" the problem?
Also, if you are going "culture" and the head coach is leading the charge, does he have veto power over who will join the team? DOUBTFUL.
Boy, you're really asking for a miracle, aren't you? When organizations have problems in their culture (defined as “the way we do things around here”) talk is the least important aspect of change.
What really matters is getting results on the field, not “talking” about how much better they are going to make the “culture”.
In fact, the BEST thing this entire front office could do for this culture is just literally shut up. Just…shut….up. Let your new head coach talk about the team, the players, etc.
