Have I been under a rock, or could this be true....listen at 5:38....in the words of Nancy Kerrigan, "why....whhhhyyy"??? Why in the hell would be the logic in doing this prior to seeing what he does this and possibly next season??? If this does happen prior to the season, I will officially be done with this rotten fish heads of an organization!!!

We pay way too much attention to these Enquirer type news pieces...

Go change the oils in your Harley or something.

Extend, save money, and if it doesn't work out they probably still think he will have trade value.
Aside from the arm chair qbs in here, the Dan orlovskis of the world who run out if bounds, and known cowboy haters in the media, most think Dak wouldn't have any trouble finding a team

For wrong or right this has been pretty obvious that this was coming

They really only have two options. Bite the bullet this year, but have little to no flexibility to improve the rest of your roster or extend Dak now to ease the cap hit.

This is the problem of a four year deal where you've already pushed so much money to the end. Don't care which side of the Dak debate anyone is on, that contract Jerry gave him was a major L.

Are these the same “most” who thought Garrett would have no trouble finding a HC position?

Not surprised they won't think about moving on from him till we have back to back losing seasons

Dak’s a good player.

You just can’t win a championship with him when you pay him like he’s anything more than good.

Padding stats and being mediocre should be obtainable year in and year out though.

Don't scare me with that title!

Shame on you!
Sorry....but it unfortunately, it looks to be coming...I do NOT get it....especially when we are talking about drafting a QB, and letting Junior walk a last ditch effort to see if Dak is salvageable. This is really catching me off guard here!! If we don't extend, we can dump him after next year...so why extend??? Wouldn't we obviously be committed to him for even longer....what am I missing here???

Dak has earned a huge pay raise because of all his playoff and super bowl wins. 75 mil a season sounds about right. Just ask his brother Tad, I mean Ken, I mean..... Hell, I have no idea what I mean.

I think the best thing to do with Dak is keep him until you find someone better. Start drafting/signing QB prospects already.

To lower the Cap impact of his final two years of current contract.
