Mike Florio has heard the Cowboys talked to Tennessee about the #1 pick

yeah fish said this was all BS with no source, just clickbait.
I remember Florio literally admitted he made something up and put it out there when he was on the Dan Patrick show several years ago. And he said it like he had no inkling that was something he shouldn't do.

I'm late to this thread. But I see people talking about the Cowboys packaging pick 12 AND Micah Parsons for the number one pick.

What?

I'm sorry....but if you are trading Micah...you keep the 12th pick, get the number one pick, and several other picks. No way you only get the number one pick for Micah. He is worth more than that!
This. Trading Micah for anything other than a king’s ransom is stupid.

If Dallas called and is indeed trying to peddle Parsons, then you already know you aren’t getting the return you want and deserve.

If Tennessee called and wants Parsons— then you play hard to get and the long game and see what their best offer is.

If it isn’t a franchise altering trade (multiple picks) — then I don’t trade a generational talent just to save money lol

Where's the generational talent at that everyone keeps saying the game changing plays

14 sacks in 13 games last year. Highest pressure rate in the league at 19%. Sacks are drive killers and pressures are turnover & bad play creators.

I think you're taking your frustrations out on the wrong players Coogi. A couple players on defense cant do it all themselves, and its why you have to field a complete team. Would Mazi Smith have started for either super bowl team this year? Are they 1 injury away from throwing a 5th round rookie into the fire at CB despite counting on a guy coming back from an ACL injury? Are they waiting half way through camp to go get a few bodies to fill out their DL depth?

Telling Parsons he needs to do more is easy, but its not the answer. The answer is getting a front office thats actually committed to winning. 2024 was a total joke of an offseason from start to finish. This is what is meant when people say the Jones family wastes careers. Parsons is a generational type of player, but while he had a cheap rookie deal the Cowboys refused to go get him some help. Most other teams in football would have been focused on prioritizing getting another stud front 4 player to take this defense to the next level. The Cowboys say 'well we drafted Sam Williams so were good.' Nothing against Sam Williams either, but what had he shown in his career to be more than a rotational piece going into 2024? The biggest problem this team has is they settle for OK players on cheap deals. Thats great to have, but lets actually try to be more than OK in the trenches.
