I like Mike Jenkins. But if the Cowboys would've ended up with Mckelvin or Talib I wouldn't be dissapointed. But I think Jenkins as far as a corner goes is right there with them.

Talib is a major head-case. Noooo thanks. Might as well have kept Pacman if we'd welcome the likes of Talib.

I'm happy with Jenkins. I wasn't too optimistic about him after last season, but he's made me a believer. It's amazing what a better understanding of the scheme has done for him.

He has all the physical tools, so it was just a matter of getting the mental part down and it appears that he's made huge strides in that area.

Jenkins is guaranteed an opportunity to shine vs the egals because making chunky hold the ball longer than he wants is critical. I'm curious how Wade choses to cover jackson.

Jenkins is playing very well and I'm happy he is on our team. I have nothing bad to say about the others just happy Jenkins is our man.

Your missing Brandon Flowers, who if the Cowboys didn't take Jenkins, I wanted the Cowboys to take in the draft

I thought Jenkins was the best Corner I saw in College that year and was shocked when so many corners went ahead of him.

The only thing I was wrong about Jenkins was I felt like he was the most ready to play of all the corners in the draft from day 1 but he clearly had some technique issues that I didn't pick up on from his College days.

He looks like an outstanding player right now and is getting better week to week.

I think his knock down against Denver was the most athletic play ive seen this season.

The only person on that list that I would've liked to have is Leodis McKelvin.

I still find these types of threads amusing considering how many wanted him kicked out of town after the Giants game last year. Hell, there was a considerable movement to make Scandrick the starter this year.

True which is why I stated back then that 1 play is not going to determine his career in the NFL. He screwed up not exactly the 1st NFL player to make a big mistake in a game.

I wanted Cason out of that group, and still feel that way.

Jenkins is an outstanding athlete, but I'm concerned about his consistency over the long haul, and he doesn't have the intangibles that Cason has.

Cason is a safe, sure thing, IMO. And he makes plays.

Let me put it this way.

Jenkins is the best tackler and have the best hands in his class of conerback...

Here are their numbers through Week 7 this season:

McKelvin - 11/13, 139 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, 136.9

Cromartie - 27/48, 392 yards, 5 TDs, 3 INTs, 91.7 QB rating

Talib - 20/35, 296 yards, 3 TDs, 4 INTs, 73.9 QB rating

Cason - 8/15, 85 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs, 52.8 QB rating

Jenkins - 21/37, 248 yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTs, 72.8 QB rating,

Cason is the only one not starting (he is their nickel CB). McKelvin was played on IR after Week 3.

Talib is trouble. He got arrested again in August.
And just cussed out his coach who disciplined him for missing curfew while they were in London.
