Teams value offense and defense differently. Jerry likes to spend cap on offense cause he fills the stadium.

If that were totally true Jerry and Danny Boy would have the last 20 championships between them and Ware and DeMarco Murray would still be Cowboys and Romo would be your backup at 14 million this year. We would also be resigning Leary, and Mo and Carr, and cutting the weak link after the draft.

If you really believe that untenable position then you are not being remotely objective about it. It is an absurd point of view.

It is 100 percent true.

They may not want to pay a guy like Ware big money after he missed so much time here, but they can move money around any way they want if they want to. The defense was so bad, even a healthy Ware couldn't help much.

Teams don't like to have too many iffy veterans around that can't stay healthy. That's the reasoning.

The salary cap provides a convenient excuse for owners who want to budget themselves and not have to fess up to the fans. It keeps profits high.

Not saying get rid of him saying we need better ones. If they're not going to upgrade the pass rush then they can expect to keep getting bounced every playoff game if they make it. Plus they need to replace dlaw.

I have to agree that its time to put some money into the defensive side of the ball...

I feel FA is key when we/any team keeps having misses and busts on either side of the ball.. overpay for one good/great player(vernon) and hand out a reasonable contract to a reasonable player(snacks harrison) then get back to drafting BPA cheaper talented players to replace said FA players

Do people forget the patriots unloaded the brinks trucks for Revis-island and that other old seahawks player that was holding call central??
