Those guys from USC should all go pretty high.

I don't get putting the guard from Auburn ahead of the "The House" from LSU. Green is a 4th rounder right now. I like Green, but he's kind of short at 6-2, and he would have to add some weight to play for the Cowboys. He's light. Green may be best used in a zone blocking scheme. Duke Robinson is the consenus top OG from what I'm seeing.

Leaving Sean Smith off is a head scratcher. He's a borderline first round pick who has been compared to Asomuguwa (don't want to look it up), the CB from Oakland. I read both are a liitle stiff, so playing tight man coverage at the line best suits them. If you play them off, they might not do as well. I still think Smith will be viewed as a CB by several teams.

We all know that your board reflects your schemes and fits. They will all vary from team to team.

Goodson from A&M was extremely under-used. He will definitely be a steal. We don't have room for him, but he will be a solid back.

I double checked on Tyronne Green, the OG from Auburn, and here is what I found:

NFLDraftScout 4th round projection # 6 guard

National Football Post 2nd rounder

If you look at the two, you would have to say 3rd round is a strong possibility for Green, not 4th like I stated above. You could call him a
2nd to 3rd round prospect if you look at both opinions.

Also, Max Unger is the 3rd highest or rated zone blocking offensive linemen according the NFP, not the 3rd highest zone blocking center like I might have posted previously. The center ranks in the top 5 overall.

We have to have Micheal Bennet dont we?

-Watch Sean Smith put on a show like DRC did last year and out of our reach

-- I also like Cushing inside, I said it a few months ago. The guy is a gym rat, in 2 years you wont be able to move him.

Cushing would be a block magnet inside. He really struggled in the senior bowl game and in practices getting off of blocks. He plays a bit stiff and upright. He is a 4-3 OLB.

The USC guys are almost universally overrated.

Beckwith looked better to me than the OSU kid. He is quick and explosive. The OSU kid has great size/speed but so did Barbie Carpenter.

Stay away from these schools... as more often than not you will not get good value.

This years draft class seems really dull. No superstars or must have players at all.

I think this is a really crappy draft at the skill positions this year.

every crappy draft has players that develop into playmakers...this is the type of draft that separates winners from losers!

At least going in, I think this year's WR crop is rated higher....but then, last year's turned out to pretty good even though none went in Rd1. I think 3-4 rookie WRs last year ended up starting.

One thing that surprised me since moving to Buckeye country this fall is that a lot of fans don't like James Laurinaitis. They say he's overrated and not even close to being the best player on their defense. I've never been overly impressed with him. I think he's more Carpenter than Hawk.

I do like the WR class this year, but then again WRs are always my favorite group to scout. I hope we get a couple of LBs this draft, one inside and another pass rusher.

After watching every senior bowl practice and the game (yes, I know i have no life) Ron Brace is a kid I really liked. If he could fall to our pick, I would be extremely happy to pick him no matter who else is on the board.
