Packers are really good at next man up among their receiver corps. Nelson not being available is not necessarily advantage Cowboys. Aaron Rodgers is dangerous so our secondary will still have a huge challenge and will need the pass rush to be at it's best to help them out. Our no name mighty orphans have done it before and they'll have to do it again. I'm so looking forward to this matchup. Go Cowboys! :flagwave:

What a crock no way Nelson plays this weekend, McCarthy is only saying this so Cowboys waste time preparing for him.

Crying Jordy...

Man. I have a real soft spot seeing players crying while being carted off. Even though it's the Giants it was gut wrenching seeing Cruz sobbing after wrecking his knee.

With that said, I'll save the sympathy for later. This week...

let me get this straight... so Jordy spent the night in the hospital last night?

and will be in rehab (whatever that means) until Friday???

how dumb does McCarthy think we are? 0% chance Jordy is playing, kinda insulting to our intelligence to suggest otherwise

Will he be listed as Questionable on the injury report?

Geronimo is Jordy's replacement. And he's done some good things for them.

yup. styles make matches. our style matches well against theirs.

our run game and TOP is their styles kryptonite

Too right.

We have the most physical offense in football and we are fresh, healthy, and rested.

Think about it: The OL is dominant, and we all know Zeke is physical-- but Dak is a load as a runner, Witten is tough and physical, Dez is all about power and fight, and we have a good group of blocking WRs.

The only way the Pack can win is if their defense forces a bunch of turnovers and really limits our offense. If our offense plays it's game-- then it will be very difficult for GB to get ahead of us and force us to play to their tempo.

He's a limited player if he's out there. Hopefully Nelson plays and takes a healthy and more dangerous threat off the field. This game is all about Adams and Cobb.

Just what you say to make you opponent spend time watching film and working in practice. No way he is playing.

we should just assume he isn't playing, you don't puncture a lung and break three ribs, then return. If he does, just send Wilcox out to target him on the first play.

Yup. Plus, as good as their receiving corps is, Rodgers is what makes it go. Kinda like when Romo was helping make Laurent Robinson $40 million or whatever.

What you really need to pay attention to is if he misses a drug test this week while in rehab.

The funny thing is, he's probably loaded up on morphine and oxy right now.

NFL: Soul crushing drugs, OK. Recreational plant, Death Penality

The hit reminded me of when Witt got hit in Oakland and ruptured his spleen. Witt toughed it out. Maybe Nelson will too.
Stop it, Nelson is not the iron man Jason Witten. Nelson only wish he had half the body and toughness of the Witten. You shouldn't even put them in the same sentence unless it's something like......Jason Witten is the GOAT, Jordy Nelson is not

More like Garrett talk. Jerry would have spilled the beans.
No he wouldn't how many times has jerry said this guy will come back and play but didn't. How many times has he said a guy wouldn't be available and then was. Just this year jerry said Jaylon would play.......still waiting.

Jerry never tells things the way it is, he beats around the bush
