Even if he played at some semblance of his best, Carr has played some of his best football when matched up with Jordy.

Stop it, Nelson is not the iron man Jason Witten. Nelson only wish he had half the body and toughness of the Witten. You shouldn't even put them in the same sentence unless it's something like......Jason Witten is the GOAT, Jordy Nelson is not

Lol! My bad Irv88!

You can put a Costco's worth of pillows on his left side and it still won't help. If you can't even practice, you're better off on the sidelines.

Going back to 2011 in the Packers only regular season loss vs KC where Carr totally locked down Nelson.

McCarthy brought Saturday into the conversation as a requirement to play but Saturday is usually a walkthrough. H-m-m, I'm calling BS.

He also said Nelson spent the night in the hospital.

I think the "he could play on Sunday" thing is a bunch of mularky. No way he plays.

I actually hope he plays hurt. Sometimes players playing hurt actually "hurt" their teams because they cannot go at 100%.

I guess anything's possible but it looks like he's not playing. Sounds like way too much damage to recover from in 7 days.

Hopefully the absence slows down their offense. But what I'm more interested in is how our offense moves the ball against them. I hear their D is banged up and we actually have Dez on the field this time around.

LOL. NO WAY is he playing after that shot. We'll find out the true extent of his injuries after the weekend -- I have a feeling it's a laundry list of maladies. Broken ribs, collapsed lung, brain hemorrhage, the works. Yes, if Jordy was Romo, he would go out and make the game winning play under those circumstances, just like Romo did against San Fran, but Jordy ain't Romo. LOL.

lol collapsed lung and broken ribs ready in a week? yeh right.

I fell out of a tree stand and broke three ribs. I couldn't move for about ten days without the pain being unbearable. Hell, I couldn't even sit up in bed for 4 days, the wife had to help me get out of bed. Course I'm old and old means old.

Last thing his ribs want is another hit from Church or Wilcox.

He isn't playing!

Not sure it matters what happens with Nelson. Cobb caught 3TDs in the last game and the other guy had one.

I wouldn't waste a second of film time on him...of course he's not going to rule him out, if he plays just let Wilcox get in a few good licks...
