Today's loss IS acceptable. Jerry made it clear in the offseason that he wasn't serious about winning.

The defense was the bigger problem today, and MM has less say in that problem than Zimmer or Jerruh

Turpin can’t catch a pass. Plain and simple. He is a returner. Some how he can catch those but not a throw from a QB. It hurts us as a team down field..

Turpin won't catch battle contested passes.. those zipped into crowded traffic or has him battling DBs for the ball. .. he has to be in space to be at his most effective. And that includes returns.

But there are ways of scheming such a finesse player.

You’re playing with 10 men when you have your most talented player rushing the qb on every play after the 1st quarter. He needs to use another DE and put Parsons at LB. He can shred blocks and get to the ball.

Ok ok I get it. Parsons already knows he will be paid as a pass rusher and make big bank. But if we continue like this his stats will not be what they have been. Unless they count meaningless pressures. You have to make an impact. And today he only made one in the 1st quarter.

Your right. This game we got no help from anyone. Were they exposed or over confident after beating down browns. Our Offense never had a chance. They got a td on every drive until it was out of hand and they let off. I do wish we left Dak and the starters in for the whole game.. Own it and keep on the field and get better. Dak needs more plays with Brooks and other WR. And where was Luepke in this game..

I saw Overshown get a nice solo tackle on the edge. Other than that they were trying to shed blocks as the runner goes past them. Our DT didn’t do the job. Was a sad day for sure.
