The win at Arizona gave us home field advantage throughout because SF lost to somebody (Atlanta?). I was ecstatic.

Yep, I remember that. I still have the image in my brain of jumping up and down when the Atlanta WR (Bert Emanuel) got into the endzone to seal the win and Jerry Rice was shown in shock. That was one of my favorite non-Cowboys victory of all time. That breathed life back into us and then we slaughtered the Cardinals to start the run.

Just seeing Jerry Rice pissed that they gave away home field advantage to us if we win was awesome.

You can't say this team hasn't gotten all the breaks this year. We have gotten pretty lucky so far...especially the last month. Starting QBs going down...all over. Key injuries to other teams....we have been relatively injury free...

We've been injury free? Our starting QB missed 5 games! Zeke missed games. Gallup is coming off a torn ACL in January and missed games. James Washington has not played all year. Tyron Smith has missed over half the season. Steele has missed a ton of games. 2 of our top 3 CBs are out. Van Der Esch has missed a ton of games. Dorance Armstrong has missed a ton of games. Hankins has missed a ton of games. I am sure I am forgetting others....

No, many of us aren't silly cats tantalized by shiny objects or red dots. 12 wins is largely meaningless to us if they can't back it up in January.

3 playoff wins in 20+ years. At what point should we expect better? Surely one can understand with that track record this team doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt come January, right?

I think MM needs to stop selling and just take the angle the team needs to play better to win playoff football games and they are working to correct it. The questions about sloppy play after 16 games are legit. We don't need to be told how many wins the team has as if we should all be satisfied with a runner-up finish in the NFC EAST and 12-13 regular season wins.

The interceptions are an issue. Several of them aren't Dak's fault but a lot of them are.

Right now Dak has far and away the biggest INT% in the NFL. Those dropped balls that turn into INT's happen to other QB's also.

I used to think that penalties would be Dallas' undoing. To McCarthy's credit, the team has really cleaned that up recently. I think that's a lot of the reason for the improved offense over the past 6 weeks. The team simply isn't shooting itself in the foot every other drive so the talent can show itself.

I hope that the team takes the turnover issue more seriously than some of the fans. This is a legit good team and can make a run if they avoid stupid mistakes.

We had plenty of time to take over that game and run off with it. Should have been 24-0 at halftime at least. We left them in the game for 3 quarters. Shut them down in the 4th.
