You mean like not signing a vet kicker when everyone (but a few of us) were screaming it would be the downfall of the season if they don't?That would be "Common Sense", something this organization lacks

Stinger. It happens. How do you get hurt doing nothing?
Exactly.Stinger. It happens.
Getting hurt on the job is different than milking the system. I see people all the time at UAW jobs on so called sick leave getting nearly full pay but are doing full time construction work on the side. When you get hurt on the job I guess you think they should just fire you then?
Appreciate the response. It was a flare up of an old neck injury he had a few years back. I heard he wanted to play yesterday, but the trainers weren't happy with how he reacted to pre-game checks and they made him sit.
lol They actually knew what they were doing and they might get lucky with the oline as well.Their pot of good fortune was fully used up on the recovery from that one.
So you're saying that Smith's injuries are not from his work? Nice unprovable anecdote though.Getting hurt on the job is different than milking the system. I see people all the time at UAW jobs on so called sick leave getting nearly full pay but are doing full time construction work on the side.
Ask Jerry he's TYRON is in our plans for the long haul, we really see him playing 5 more years lolWe're in the third year of it's time to move on. Pull the trigger.
It was a joke. Unlike a union, Jerry has the authority to fire him and find his replacement. So you're saying that Smith's injuries are not from his work? Nice unprovable anecdote though.
They drafted Tyler Smith who will replace him when he retires. They have signed/drafted backup tackles every year.It was a joke. Unlike a union, Jerry has the authority to fire him and find his replacement.
But honestly, it's not Tyrons fault. It's Jerrys fault for not moving on from him. It's hurting the team because they refuse to plan for him not being available, when the odds are better he will miss several games as opposed to play the whole season.
I'm ready to try someone new at RT. Steele is just terrible this year. I'm not even worried about the left sideTyler-Bass-Biadasz-Martin-Steele
The sooner we do this, the better
But I think if Tyler Smith is your left tackle of the future, he needs to be playing there now. It's easier to play guard than left tackle. They drafted Tyler Smith who will replace him when he retires. They have signed/drafted backup tackles every year.
Tyron makes $10m a year and has done so for a decade. It has always been a discount but now he is playing at half rate for a starting LT. That is why they keep him around. If he was making $25m then you would have a point.
Why? Because you say so?But I think if Tyler Smith is your left tackle of the future, he needs to be playing there now. It's easier to play guard than left tackle.
I just don't like how they are delaying putting Tyler Smith at tackle with the hope that Tyron will stay healthy .
Now if they want to bench Steele for his terrible play this year and put Tyron smith at right tackle go for it.
He hasn’t been great at guard. It is easier but he has very little experience at guard. I think they want to leave him there so he gets it down. He’s the future LT unless a LT falls in their lap then than plan likely changesBut I think if Tyler Smith is your left tackle of the future, he needs to be playing there now. Thanks for calling that -- Tyron isn't practicing any Wed this season. And that is fine. What he said is that Tyron was a game time decision this past Sunday and Tyron would be with the vet group not practicing Wednesday whether or not he is injured. DLaw and Martin are in that group as well.
You are being set up for angst. Sports journalists are worse than they ever were.
