bring him back in?

Must we always throw a big net to catch everyone elses rejects, BUT not only that, bring back our own rejects?

Boys and girls, we let him walk for a reason, he wasnt going to do it here, what makes you think hes going to do it the second time?

Sadily it was a bad pick, THEY happen, this is why you have something called a draft and NOT the NFL PERFECT PICK.

He was a low rounder, and they have a low percentage to make the team, not all of them will be Ratliffs.

But we havent we had our draft yet and everyone wants everyones rejects and its just not going to happen.

I always flush the toilet after I take a crap and never turn back. I have no need for it after that.

wow i feel completely different than yall, he was our draft pick, his knee wasnt good enough to hold a roster spot last year for him and he got picked up off waivers or signed off our p squad i cant remember but we saw something in him we should give him a chance to see if we were right. it costs us no more than what we signed him for and we already spent a pick on him. if he doesnt have it he doesnt have it no sweat but the fact that we spent a pick on him already should warrent him consideration for training camp we can always cut him again.

all you guys that just want to write him off im glad you dont run the team

Naaa, I'd rather draft someone else...

This is true.

That said, he didn't clear wiavers or Dallas would have signed him to the Practice Squad.

This is from a writer in Cincinnati.

http://cnati.com/blogs/ctrent/

The Bengals today waived cornerback Mike Mickens.

Mickens, who last season was a rookie from the University of Cincinnati, spent five regular-season games and one postseason game on the Bengals' practice squad. The team had signed him to its offseason roster on Jan. 15.

Originally a seventh-round draft pick of Dallas last year, Mickens also spent time on the Cowboys' practice squad and on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' 53-player roster prior to signing to the Bengals' practice squad.

I talked with Mickens yesterday. He's been trouble by a knee injury his senior year at UC and never quite been the same. He said he's getting closer to being right.

The Cowboys didn't let him walk. Tampa Bay signed him off the Cowboys pratice squad.

I remember the Bucs signing him off the Dallas Practice Squad now.

Maybe it was D. Smith who was claimed off waivers.

He's probably J.A.G. still why not atleast bring him on in as "Camp Fodder" where he served pretty useful during the Off-Season a year ago?

BTW, he ran a 4.53 at his Pro Day on a bum knee.

:bang2: If you are putting them on the pratice squad, you're not trying real hard to let them stay, OR IF you are not calling them and asking them to stay, Dallas let him walk but did it nicely.

Sorry we're playing a game of wars to suit your needs, but its not like Dallas pleaded with him to stay.

I agree. Mickens intercepted alot balls in college, before his knee injury. I believe he tore his ACL. Alot of drs. say it takes 2 years to recover from a ACL injury, so maybe Mickens can showcase his talents now.
