War of words????? I just corrected you on your comment. No need to get your undies in a bind. As far as NFL teams placing players on their perspective pratice squads, that doesn't mean they don't think highly of them. It means that they do think highly of them, but for whatever reasons,a practice squad player cannot be on the active roster. Maybe the position that player plays is deep, or the particular player is raw and needs to develop, or the player is recovering from a injury(like Mickens), the pratice squad is a good way of keeping that said player. You don't think Dallas was upset when Carolina signed Matt Moore off the Cowboys pratice squad a couple of years ago? Now Matt Moore is the starting qb for the Panthers. The pratcie squad can be a important part of an NFL teams overall roster.
