Signed by Cowboys Mike Pettine to join Cowboys staff

[Ranching]

LOL. The wiz kid needs his hand held.

Why is that funny?? Oh, I forgot, you've probably never actually stepped on a football field....LOL. The Wiz poster doesn't actually understand the way the game works. Not the first time this happens and not the last. We've been crying for change and now many actually give you a like for your stupid joke. Maybe I'll get one....lol

[Echo9]

Bro..without Mr Miagi the karate kid was just a burnt up outsider... think about it...

Stay Gold.

[big dog cowboy]

I thought Schotty said the solution was in the room.

Yeah well..............

I guess not so much.

[DuncanIso]

MP will fix,

[DripTooHard]

I thought Schotty said the solution was in the room.

It is. When Schotty is fired the solution will come to light. It is in the room.

[slick325]

The problem is also the play calling during games.

It stinks.

Agreed. Play calling and adjustments are major issues. Man!

If Pettine can help by telling what he is seeing and make suggestions regarding both it will help a lot. Can't be much worse can it? Although, all of us were saying the same thing coming into thus season. Smh

[DuncanIso]

We got a coach!

[Majic]

Pettine turned this job down in the spring but felt so bad for Parker watching this mess that he decided to come to the rescue.

I think you are joking in your comment, but a lot of truth to this.

[Plankton]

I thought Schotty said the solution was in the room.

He didn't say WHICH room.

[Chocolate Lab]

Derp.

Only you guys proclaimed him to be a “whiz kid” when in fact he was just a guy looking to learn a job like so manny could he’s who move up in the League.

Nah, it wasn't us. Everyone in the local and many in the national media sold what a prodigy this guy was.

Don't you remember this summer when the concern was who would succeed him as DC when -- not if -- he got a head coaching job somewhere?

[Majic]

Yup.

It’s an excellent hire.

CP likely done.

Great hire, but here to help CP

[HungryLion]

Apparently it is a huge room.

LOLLLL

That was good

[HungryLion]

This can’t hurt. It’s good for Parker to have a mentor to help him and lean on.

[Carson]

MP will fix,

Roster changes? Reddy to practice squad and Durant back?

[kumizi]

They should’ve done this from the beginning. We’ll see how much it helps in the middle of the season. The incoming guy isn’t really familiar with the players and how they’ve been performing individually.

I don't think the current guy is either.

[cowboyec]

this move makes it easier to fire parker if things dont change on that side of the ball.
a fmr dc on staff who makes the perferct interm to finish the year.
a vet coach they can pass the def off onto.

[EGTuna]

This is so dumb. I’m sure all of us would love it if our boss’s boss hired someone to mentor us because we were struggling at our job. The Consigliere Model doesn’t work.

[Coogiguy03]

And your next head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

Cheap ... currently unemployed ... checks all the boxes!

LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL exactly!!!

[Plankton]

Bro..without Mr Miagi the karate kid was just a burnt up outsider... think about it...

And now, he's at a Crossroads, and needed some help from His Cousin Petty.
