Singletary is one of my favorite players to ever watch.hendog said:What would you think about that. The man has to know alittle about an attacking, suffocating defense?
If I'm not mistaken, Singletary is a LB coach for SF, not a DC for Cincy.Hostile said:Singletary is one of my favorite players to ever watch.
Problem # 1...There is no reason to believe Zimmer is leaving.
Problem #2...He is employed by Cincinnati and cannot opt out unless promoted. DC to DC is not a promotion even if the team and job is more prestigious.
Translation...it ain't happening.

That said, he has very little coaching experience overall. Not just on defense. That would bother me.
