He went 2/5. He made them when they mattered though, and we won because of him. David Boston has a nice game aswell.

Boston is in the CFL now? WOW
Boston had so much potential before he bulked up using hgh/roids
he hasn't been no where the same since
I remember seeing a pic of him when he was like 250-260 pds but he was running like a 4.5 or so.. guy was huge

he was never the same after he missed that FG that cost the Colts a SB championship.

Yep, another classic case of a pro athlete losing ''it"..... Hard to believe, but it happens.

Mike V was such a punk. It's so funny because he was so mouthy and cocky.

He owned himself royally. Where's the guy with the "god hates you" avatar? That thing cracks me up and it's perfect for this particular thread. lol

I really think it's kinda sad...

I mean sure he was mouthy and cocky (especially in Indy) but I have always hated to see the greats crash and burn.. I've always kinda liked to see them go out on top or maybe even the slow descent.

I really hate to see pro-athletes go out because of drugs or alcohol.. it's just sad. (i.e. 'hollywood' henderson)

When was he ever great?

The most overrated stat was his as "the most accurate field goal kicker in NFL history."

Those are some stats to be proud of...

more importantly than his stats though, was that he was always the clutch kicker, and made the big ones when they counted...

He WAS a GREAT kicker, and I stand by that statement...

People only trash him because he's a jerk... Which might be true, but being an intolerable a** doesn't make you any less of a good kicker (it just makes you an intolerable human being)

I remember being chuffed when Dallas signed him, and that feeling even lasted a good bit into the season. I hope Folk keeps his focus, for all the grief kickers get, not having a decent one on the team is horrible. It's pretty amazing the way all the can do is wrong, yet there aren't 32 good ones in the leaque.

Funny thing about kickers is that they hold so much power in their skinny frames to make or break a game, a season, or even that last second blown kick in the playoffs that send you home early.

Don't know why everyone is so nasty towards MV. He got slack for "dissing" Manning but no one came back and mentioned that Manning was slumping then and right after that his game improved a heck of a lot. Whether MV gets credit or not is obviously debatable but at least in hindsight he did nothing wrong. I also liked him for doing his own "icing" Everyone calls time outs to ice the kicker and he once called his own just to mock the process and hit the game winner after that anyway. I always thought he was cool. Dont get the acrimony against him here.

Vandershank lost it all on one kick:D . I like Folk alot, but instead of Vandershank we should have made a harder run at Vinateri. I'm 100% happy with our current kicker:bow:

Well the game is named after the two "skinny" guys, the two that use their "foot"

I always thought the game should be called Gridball or something like that.
