Mike Williams or Charles Rodgers

we would certainly make that trade, but detroit has no reason too. Mike Williams won't be cut or tradedthis year, too big of a cap hit. Now if detroit really needed a LB, they might consider shanle and a conditional pick for Rogers, but he's too injury prone.

I was being sarcastic. Detroit has no use for an inside linebacker, nor would a trade straight up for a former first round choice, no matter how fat, be equitable.

How the mighty have fallen. Williams was supposed to be the best WR in the nation a couple of years ago. Rogers is a little more understandable with his multiple injuries.

They can't trade Williams because of cap ramifications and Just Say No to Charles Rogers. He has some bad, bad, bad rumors surrounding him and possible drug use ... and its not just pot.

Williams, at least he isn't a druggie, just slow. Bring him in inside the redzone and throw jump balls all day.
don't we have enough tight ends? how many more do we need?

There is no way they could afford to get rid of Williams, the cap hit would be far more than they would want to handle.

Any of you guys for getting either of these guys, ask yourself:

Why are the Lions so desparate to rid themselves of two very high 1st round draft picks?

For them to even contemplate releasing Williams this soon, wouldn't he have to be a bust of collossal proportions?

And everyone should already know the deal with Charles Rogers. He's either hurt, using drugs, or both.

Parcells and the Cowboys aren't looking to inherit another team's headhaches.

I'd take him.

Me too....I don't know why we didn't sign him instead of trading for this cat from denver in the first place. Fredex is much better.

We wait for Lions to cut 1 of these first round busts. Both have bad work habits. bad attidues, injury and weight issues respectively. That Martz has scrubs ahead of them should be telling.

Pass and maybe take a free agent no bonus look at after cut.
