Word is the Vikings really like their OC Stefanski, and rumors are if the Vikings lose to the Saints Zimmer could very well be out and Stefanski the next HC.

No secret that Zimmer was really liked by Jerry he just wasnt a guy for Parcells. I think he would be a name to watch if he is ousted in Minnesota.

I personally think Cooper and Zeke are Jerry's boys because they are Jerry picks and signings. I think Jaylon Smith on defense and D-Law are his guys. Anyone he's wildcat gambled for.

one of his sons is already with Dallas...in the scouting dept. I believe.

Zimmer got a token contract extension early last offseason, putting him under contract with the Vikings through next season. But it’s worth wondering if a bad loss to the New Orleans Saints in a Wild Card game on Sunday will bring a move to make changes, including letting Zimmer go. In the wake of such a loss, would he pursue other opportunities that may come his way?

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network has offered the idea the Jones is a fan of Zimmer and could pursue a trade for him. Charles Robinson of Yahoo! has pointed to Sunday’s game against the Saints as critical to Zimmer’s future in Minnesota.

4. If #Vikings Stefanski were the #Browns hire, I believe it would be Haslam leaning into a DePodesta-led structure. But McDaniels or Stefanski being the hire would not be a good omen for Dorsey. Haslam leading the way on firing Kitchens and this search is already bad for John.

5. As for #Vikings, ownership likes Stefanski a lot. If the team totally craters vs. #Saints, don’t rule out significant changes in the face of playoff failure and potentially losing Stefanski. I believe this game matters for Mike Zimmer‘s 2020 outlook - not just an extension.
