What he said to the press was he told the team to not worry..

to just play the best they had been shown or something to that effect. That they had a big opportunity ahead.

You can play it back yourself.

Obviously what he said made the team relax and go compete being heavily behind at the half.

Maybe he knows what he is doing and they are listening?

Good sign.

I seriously doubt he knows more about coaching than we do.

He has given me no reason to be confident in him at all.

Although... The offensive play designs and tempo they played with were much much improved over week 1.

But..

The game management was a joke. He is not helping this team right now lol.

Or.. He's a genius and knows going for it in spots that he did doesnt effect the outcome of games lol.

Here is where it gets blurry.

Is it Mike calling all these gambled calls or is it Moore or who?

Maybe different people at different times are making these choices.

I am not clear on it at all.

Well something positive happened at halftime.

They were clearly a different team from the first half.

Whether it was the players talking about the situation or what..

I appreciate it.

Decisions like that should come through the head coach. I'd be shocked if it wasn't.

If it wasn't... then what is the head coach just a point of contact to relay messages from other coaches? lol

I think its more that the Falcons suck and the offense stopped shooting itself in the foot that changed the game than any speech.
Wrong. The team could've given up and he was trying to prevent that with his speech. Give credit where credit is due. I'm sure you blasted him last week so don't be hypocritical.

Those 4th down gimmick plays was not Moore. But I think the playcalling and up-tempo style was certainly Moore's and his.

Yawn.

No I didn't blast anything. Good try.

The more I think of it, the only reason the "puppet" tag hasnt been applied here is because he has a ring.

This guy is a Jerry puppet.

An offensive guy that agreed to keep some snot nosed kid to run the offense.

He bought himself several years there.

Have we not seen this movie before?

bahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahah

so, were the fumbles in the 1st quarter due to NOT listening to the coach? IN the 94 nfc title game were the 2 time defending champion Dallas Cowboys' fumbles in the first quarter due to not listening to the coach? So was Zeke's fumble due to not relaxing?

IM sorry, but this is the biggest bunch of crap ever. Big mac giving out win one for the gipper type of motivation, and our guys are soaking it all up./???? bahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahaahhaha.

Thank God for Big Mike. We might be 0-2 without him.

Not sure what you expected out of this guy considering Jerry hired him

I seriously doubt any special teams coach gets to make those calls or the O coordinator. Any attempt to go for it on a 4th down or a fake punt play is 100% the HC decision.

the only reason we were "Different," is we didnt fumble. Sometimes it just happens .... see 94 nfc title game as the ultimate example.

What clicked for the offense though in the 2nd half?
The offense clicked in the second quarter when they didn't fumble the ball and started throwing more on first down...they had drives of 75 and 60 in the second.
