With Miles Austin being an extremely important Free Agent we need to resign, what do you think it will take dollar wise to lock him up for several seasons. I'm still worry about losing him in Free Agency. Also we are already shelling out bucks to Roy Williams as a #1.

Do you think he would get more from the Dolphins or somebody else ? I've been very curious as to the loyality of Miles Austin to the Boyz.

Jerry has also been good about taking care of his players. Miles will get a deal here in Dallas.

No way Jerry lets Austin go.

Maybe a few higher earners will rework their deals if needed. That would show some true loyalty and respect.

We don't need to rework nothing, drop Flozells contract plus T.O comes off the cap next season, and we are golden.

It would be a terrible career move to leave the Cowboys for any other team.

Not many guys leave here that Jerry wants to keep, I think he'll stay.

I can't believe people have been so stuck on him accepting 30-35 as if that's what he is worth. Unbelievable.

Austin isn't going anywhere. Jerry will get him resigned to a long term deal here in Dallas and remember cause of there being no CBA this year Miles Austin will NOT be a UFA this year. Meaning that Dallas can put a tender on him and match any offer anyone tries to put on him.

Austin won't be leaving the Cowboys.

Roddy White got 6 years, 48 mil with 18 guaranteed. I think Austin will get significantly less, probably. People's estimates of 6 for 36 or so are probably about what it will be.

They better be ready to match a high offer. Alot higher than that 35 million nonsense.

He is worth more, much much more.

I see him getting paid what Calvin Johnson got.

6 years 28.3m guaranteed $55.5m

$9.3m a year.

The thing is that Johnson got that without ever stepping onto a field. Before he'd ever put on a pad for an NFL game.

Austin isn't a rookie signing his first deal and he isn't a rookie who hasn't done anything yet.

I think we'd be pretty lucky if we got him for that deal. I expect it will be more.

I agree. They will be too. I think we can all agree that Jerry isn't going to let Austin go to another team. It's just not going to happen.
