All that rest must have enabled Austin to make sure his hops were working. What an amazing catch he made on the 1st and 30 play. Let me say that again, it was 1st and 30 and the great Giants D couldn't stop Romo and Miles from putting the game away! It looked nearly identical to the catch against the Titans in 2010.

Miles has a knack for making you think he's not going to contribute anything in a game, and then he makes this amazing gamebreaking play and you look back and he finishes for 4 catches, 95 yards and a TD. Kinda of a better version of Alvin Harper, IMHO.

I still think he's a bit hampered by the hammy and doesn't quite have his same burst off the line, but I need to rewatch the game to verify my assumption. Terrific ball skills last night, though.

That is what I thought also. He did not look like he had the burst or maybe he was holding back but he sure had the ups!

while that is a good knack to have, i would prefer he have the knack to perform consistently during games and still occasionally make the amazing game-breaking play like a WR being paid millions is supposed to do

hopefully he can get back to doing that once he is completely healthy

consistency is an under-appreciated commodity among football fans but is the center piece for winning franchises

I like having a well rounded, versatile WR corps that can mix and match different types of guys. I'm more than happy with Miles being an Alvin Harper big play gamebreaker type if Dez can step up and be the go-to Michael Irvin type. Games are won and lost in this parity driven league on big plays and turnovers moreso than 13 play drives.

i agree with oyu and am not quibbling with our WRs

i think we have one of the best groups in the NFL when they are on between Dez/Miles and now OTree and I love the potential of our back-ups
