Miller Lite and Cowboys Deal

Admittedly I am not much of a beer drinker. But I do know there is a big difference between Coors and Bud. Coors IMO taste horrible (it all does if you ask me). Can't comment on Miller.

I vote for Shiner Bock as the beer of choice for the dallas cowboys!! =p Although I drink Bud / Miller and just about everything else lol.

Miller is already being sold at Texas Stadium. And they may be the only beer company willing to pay his price...

I was thinking Miller was there when I went to TS last year but wasn't quite sure. Didn't really care for what beer it was at $7 per bottle.

Is there a discernible difference between Miller Lite, Coors Light, and Bud Light? Those were the only likely candidates and all 3 taste like water.

Yep. They're no Pabst, that's for sure. Hooray PBR!

should have gone with keystone light...

at least they already have the right color scheme :laugh2:

Im a HIGH LIFE guy but miller lites not bad...go COWBOYS

Miller Lite is decent. It's not my first choice, but if I have to choose between that and Coors or Bud, I'll always choose Miller Lite.

I'm a cola guy, but given the description of the home crowd by some, I assumed that Jerry only sold Chablis.
I see what you did there.

Have you tasted Hoegaarden before. That stuff is good
Yeah. Very tasty, but too light and sweet for me -- being a wheat beer. My wife likes it a lot, but I like a little more mmph in my beer.

I really like Heineken from the 5L draft keggies. Stays fresh for a month after opening.

To everybody that wants the foreign beer, go watch a soccer game. Anybody who wants Budweiser, go watch Nascar. Maybe we should make Mickey's fine malt liquor the beer for us! j/k

I am pretty sure the reason for this partnership much like Dr.Pepper it is brewed in the area.

I think right off 820 and 30 in fort worth miller lite has a plant. If I remember correctly that is miller lite.

I believe that is the reason for the partnership, its locally brewed. I dont think jerry and stephen spent a day sipping a variety of beers and said...miller lite it is!!!!!

oh and for my money I like saranac!

30 years is about how long the seat license is good for:mad:

Is the brewery close enough to justify a pipeline to the stadium?

Oh, not that anyone at the Zone would do it, but is there a favorite way to take beverages into the stadium, baby bottle, false leg, false beer gut?

so what you are saying is there is no beer in this entire country worthy of you.

The real shame here is that the U.S. is clearly the world's best producer of many styles of beer -- our small producers make many of the world's finest artisanal products. yet for some reason, people have been sold a bill of goods on beer that looks and tastes like water.

Didn't say that at all. They're just better than Miller/Bud/Coors. You can actually get Belgian style beers made in US breweries. They're just not as available as those actually made in Belgium.

If you're going to get inexpensive beer, at least get Dos Equis.

I for one want hear theogt's opinions on Belgians. I love them but am a strong ale/IPA guy first.
