Milton reasons why the trade to the Cowboys was a blessing

He does not have to win anything and he will still be paid handsomely. This is the Cowboys way. I would love it too.
The Cowboys Way? *** does that me Cousins has been paid, won nothing. Josh Allen's been paid, won nothing. Justin Jefferson been paid, won nothing. Justin Herbert, Tua, and on and on and on..... do I need to keep going?

? what should he have said? Id prefer to play for the pathetic Pats instead.... losing is coolEvery one of those reasons is a red flag.
so you dont think players dont want to play in freezing cold? You think players dont want to play for the most popular team in the league? whats wrong with any of those reasons?

No but you’re making him seem like something he isn’t. Yet. Don’t use one game against backups as a measuring stick.
You’re putting words in my mouth. All I said was he has a strong arm, can run, and could be a viable backup to Dak. If he replaces Dak than that's great!

That’s it. I never called him a star or a Pro Bowler—you’re the ones overreacting and taking it further than what I actually said.

Came at you? You responded to my post to another poster. No one was even worrying about your poop-smoothing exercise until you put it on full display to me. Shall I not address it when you bring it to me? I don't know how some of y'all do it but you manage. Lol.
I never come at you about your post. I respond accordingly and appropriately.

I really like this move, especially since he will time to learn. If and when the opportunity comes up, I see him as a future leader of the team.

The owner sets the culture in Big D and he is not interested in winning anything big. This mentality has trickled down to the locker room and front office for 3 decades now. Undrafted and late round picks for QB. Leftovers. Meaningless trades for projects at QB nowadays.

Those other teams were trying to hit on something big. They had to go through the QB carousel and different general managers but they were at least in pursuit of excellence.

No such thing in Dallas. Jerry is only interested in running it back his way which has failed him time and time again. And he knows he has sucker low brow fans which will eat it up every year so he has no impetus to change.

You're ignoring the fact that he mentioned warm weather and playing in a dome. Were this team to make the playoffs, in all likelihood, we'd be on the road at Washington and/or Philly in January. Ain't no domes in those wintry places. It's problematic because it's not the "I'll do whatever it takes" spiel you like to hear out of a football player. As someone else mentioned, perhaps these were just cover answers for "I know Dak will get hurt again and thus I'll have the popular Dallas Cowboys spotlight to show the whole country what I can do" that can't be said out loud. Still, not the best cover answers though so he's gotta work on that.
I know I like outdoor football also. But the league has changed. There’s not many players that play outdoor football like the ice ball lol
And just because he doesn’t like it doesn’t mean he can’t play it. He was in New England, and he beat Buffalo.

Maybe that is what he meant in code.
Learn from Dak, by not being like Dak.
:muttley:
Learning from Prescott is huge. Prescott is a very smart football player. The best teachers are the ones that usually can’t do it lol

Didn’t ignore it, just chose not to mention it cause I didn’t think it was important.

Oh boy......here we go (LOL)
I appreciate player honesty and being themselves. I personally don't have a problem with this but understand how/why many fans will process it differently but I'm pretty sure, like most players, Milton doesn't care.

The guy was honest and everything he said makes complete sense.

A lot of guys like playing in a warmer climate and if you're a quarterback throwing the ball in bad weather it's not something that's going to help your game.

That said hopefully he's ready for Jerry to have him blinded in the fourth quarter by the Sun because he's too stubborn to put in shades or close the roof or whatever necessary

When combined with "home games played indoors" it speaks to wanting to be sheltered from the elements. There's a reason you ignored that part of it and tried to spin that he likes to walk in the park in the Summertime.

It's okay to want grit out of your football players, Sunshine. You have such an anti-critical reflex it's funny. Do you always make poop into an ice cream sundae by smoothing over the obvious? Lol.
You should come live up here some winter. You’ll be begging for warmer weather too. That doesn’t mean he can’t play in. It just means he doesn’t prefer it. you can twist it anyway you like ,that’s what this is about. Posting here.

His reasons mostly had to do with being comfortable. And why should being "America's team" matter (which these days means being clowned by everyone)? I'd rather he had a reason that had something to do with a desire to compete and win not being comfy in a dome.

Absolutely one of the more intelligent quarterbacks they say if you can’t do it teach it, because his mechanics and bodies breaking down, doesn’t mean he’s not a intelligent quarterback
He doesn't seem very intelligent when he does things like not knowing the rules when he slid to end the season, etc.

Dak has struggles of his own. He can't read defenses and has problems with his mechanics. The only thing I could see Milton maybe learn from Dak is keep your mouth shut and hand out.

For somebody that is supposed to be an intelligent quarterback he sure looks confused a lot of the time. And he also seems to wilt under the pressure mentally.
