Milton will push the cowboys over the top

Herbert goes through his progressions and can make every throw on the field. Milton scouting report is not in his physical abilities, it’s the reads and the short to intermediate throws. But he keeps his eyes downfield while not bailing the pocket early.

Definitely an upgrade over Rush based on potential alone.

The one thing we do know is Dak was a 250 million dollar charity case and mistake and we aren’t going anywhere with him.

I can get on board with that and I can take it further..

I don't think Lance got a good enough chance here because Cooper rush was in his way..
I would like to see Milton show in Dallas that he can overcome his deficiencies. Touch on the ball being #1.

We won't get to see this, but you want to hear great things about him in TC and scout team.

Let's see if he can pull off a Romo with limited snaps.

You do realize I was being sarcastic right?
Yeah. I just thought I'd throw some names out there too.

Vick because he had a big arm and could run. And Leaf because he had a big arm but low football IQ.

I don't know if he actually is comparable to either.

the one thing we can say about Milton. with him as back up, we can include pass plays that are longer than 15 yards in the game plan.....I mean Rush had horrendously bad arm

I have 0 expectations for the guy maybe you should have then anything he does that's positive would be a surprise and be a very good thing for Dallas that you can possibly develop a player... Look in my opinion if they are patient with them at worst this dude's a backup and maybe he's Joshua Dobbs or tyrod Taylor who made a living moving around and being backups and spot duty starters that's my expectation that's it I have no big expectations for him to challenge dak or be a starter there's nobody pushing dak that's hilarious the original poster might have been you I don't know who it is it's very delusional Prescott the top ten player even at his worst and that's a fact and I'm not gonna see her and argue with the DAK haters who don't see his value but he's top five when he's healthy playing well and actually has a resemblance of an offensive line and a run game, you know maybe some coaches that actually can devise game plans and actually make adjustments in a game that would be really nice for our starting quarterback...

That's why I'm not getting into this debate about Prescott you watch jalen hurts be on a team that was all in and loaded 2 wide receiver targets a tight end target and a an elite running back and an elite offensive line and an elite defense and somehow he's the Super bowl champion so he must be better than Prescott no we don't have a resemblance of that on it almost never had there may have been spots across Romo and Prescott's career where they had some talent in the regular season yes Pro Bowl players some really great players but most of them didn't show up when the games got tight and big and the lights are on in the playoffs 4-5 players ruined it for everyone else the coaching staff ruined it for everyone else.

On that subject I'm hoping this coaching staff is a whole lot better at coaching and teaching and bringing schemes to fit the players versus the players being forced into their schemes because that's what we need around here we have talent on this team even if it's role players guys like deuce Vaughn and Turpin and hunter, never were really given great chances to succeed here because our coaching staff just wanted what they wanted and didn't see any reason to utilize guys who can actually do some special things in a much smaller role.... I blame them for the TES disappearing as well it's like they needed the Titans so bad to block because they couldn't create a scheme that in order to have even an average run game they had to play everyone up against the line..
So yeah let's hope the coaching staff can do a lot with even some of the roster leftovers from last year and do better especially along the offensive line at a running back and receiver in the draft and just get this moving forward..

He’s exactly the playmaker we need. Reminds me of a mix between Vick and Herbert

It will be an exciting day as a cowboys fan to see this guy starting. Get him another weapon, and I see a top 5 offense.

I’m just happy we have hope for the future and #4’s days are looking to be numbered.
That's hilarious dude the only thing Milton is pushing is possibly will grier off the roster are pushing the front office to get another veteran before the season starts stay tuned not saying I don't like to pick up but you're going overboard way too much you're too much you're extra that was too extra it's hilarious..

We will see

Since it was not a blown out knee that made him a 6th round pick, what is it about him that made him fall to the sixth round?
Look, I'm not having a debate one way or the other I'm just going to answer your question directly..

it's the same reason a guy like Tom Brady and Brock Purdy fall did they have blown knees? I know a lot of players that have fallen of all different positions that were not injured just happened to get overlooked and fall in the draft because the drafts not perfect there's some undrafted players lots of them that make the Hall of Fame the draft is not a perfect place I'm not saying this kids gonna be good or not but you're off base by predicting doom and gloom of what you think is historically if you're a low draft pick you probably have no chance in the NFL and I'd say you have less of a alert when you're picked and lower because a lot of reaches happen in the first round.. Expert teams that are supposed to be filling BPA versus need but go with need... That's why the lower the rounds you get you get a guy like I don't know Duran bland how does he get into the fifth round it happens you know it wasn't an injury..

And I'm just going by what some New England fans reactions they're upset they didn't get enough for him they seem to like him I don't really know much about him I didn't even watch the game he beat Buffalo you know when they had backups but he played very well in that game regardless if you wanna look at it as a preseason game it wasn't a preseason game but it's OK to feel good about the guy until he proves one way or the other who's right...
