I guess so, I don't know or even get it. I do not like Dak because of the way he plays, period. I'm sure he is a fine person. I do not like Micah because he is a damn brat kid.

So, I guess now I need to go shopping for an eagle jersey, according to what I'm reading.

This has long been my argument on Dak. Its not that Dak is uncapable of winning, its not that hes a bad QB....I simply think you either have a top 5 guy at the position or you dont, and investing in a non elite player is a dangerous game given the salaries QB command. A top 10ish QB is great, until the playoffs get here....then you typically have one of the lesser QBs left. Unless I had a Mahomes, Allen, Burrow type I would rather invest heavily in the rest of my team before I pay top money to my QB.

This is exactly what the argument has been about. We all wanted extra resources invested in other positions. Because we all knew Dak was a dime a dozen QB

I think we have to take into account that the Chargers, Dolphins, and Oilers are awful franchises who always finds a way to NOT win a Super Bowl.

Kinda like the Cowboys in the last 30 years.

This is fair. Agreed. But I used those 2 QBs to prove a point. Dilfer had an all-time defense led by Ray Lewis and Ed Reed, a strong running game, etc., and they won the SB. Marino had the Mark Brothers and nothing else and loss the SB.

Yet it boggles my mind that someone would dare say Marino was a loser. But that's just me.

Mahomes is the best quarterback in the league. It's a team friendly deal given its length and his actual productivity and use to the team.

Jalen Hurts has proved his worth to the team with excellent performances in two Superbowls. As a mobile QB he also massively helps with the team's running game. Again, he is well worth paying.

He is not a standard overpaid immobile run of the mill quarterback like Dak Prescott who is also on a 4 year contract.

So you are saying success determines which quarterbacks are overpaid? Purdy right now is overpaid, according to you, but Hurts is not because he performed well in two Super Bowls.

BTW, I happen to like Mahomes' contract. I think the structure of it gives the team a lot of leeway that they've used over the years with restructures. I wish Dak would have agreed to such a deal (don't know if one like it was even offered) because it provides a whole lot more play for the team. It doesn't mean that Mahomes is underpaid. The guaranteed money has made sure he's gotten his. It just allows structure to move money around as needed.

Their franchise had started to degrade after the 70s. Their franchise is to blame for Marino's lack of a Super Bowl.... because it certainly wasn't Marino.
