Mingo needs more targets

He will come along just fast enough for Stephen to think his best years are ahead of him and give him an outsized contract for his future production.

If it was for after this year we should have just waited for him to be cut after the season and saved the 4th round pick. Given what transpired with the him and the Panthers before his trade everyone knew that was the direction it was headed.

Again, if you weren't going to use him this year then why trade for him when you could have signed him in the offseason after he was cut?

Edit: And what GM spends a 4th round pick in-season on a player they weren't expecting to have contribute that year? Oh wait, ours.
I'm not disagreeing with you!

Why make this trade at the deadline. They aren’t pulling the wool over my eyes. They expected him to contribute this year as well, not just next year

exactly. The Jethro minions saying that are just regurgitating the party line; not reality

Cooks is leaving.

new HC next season. New offense.

Mingo is a downfield WR, for the most part.....Cooper doesn't go downfield. It's pretty simple, Mingo will not garner a good evaluation or just get cast off for not fitting in, for all the wrong reasons.
