I care, because what he did in Car is a huge portent of things to come. Why? Because players that suck mostly suck no matter where they go. The ones who break out after sucking for one team are very very few.
Stop making sense!

Not really. Top notch DT's would solve most of our D problems.
It takes time for defensive tackles to develop. This fan base or more importantly the owner, has no patience to let the defensive tackle grow. This defensive tackle class has potential but their isn’t a Jalen Carter or. Quinnen Williams.

Look, mate. If we could, for once, be lucid and draft Jaylon Walker, Georgia, we could have a formidable linebacking crew.
With Micah at middle LB and Walker at strong, our soft, milquetoast D front line won't matter! We can address DEs in FA.

But, by hurty-gurty, we must summon the courage to expend any resources to get Walker! He is the truth! Just ask Quinn Ewers.
If not, then go after Dillon Gabriel, QB-Oregon.

He should be used how we attempted to use gallup. He's bigger , faster with a higher vertical. Give him more slants and deep routes.
Only this incredibly stupid team would waste this opportunity, with meaningless games to NOT give the kid a ton of chances and maybe get him some success/momentum going into the offseason. The next smart decision this franchise makes will be their first.

Because Cooper can't hit him downfield......it will be Mingo's fault and he will be written off, by FO and this board.

All true. Which is why successful franchises generally take DT's quite often. BALT, KC, PITT, SF, Philly, the teams who are in contention a lot focus on the position. DET recently.

Milquetoast DT's gets your LB's injured. Sorry, still matters!!!!

And then look at super bowl participants. All have good/great DTs. Can't really think of any exceptions.

That would be a good start, he has been open quite a bit but Rush isn't capable of getting the ball to him for whatever reason.

Plus, he plays one snap, the ball is thrown in the dirt then they take him out. How can he do any worst than Tolbert at this point?
Mingo's been getting open quite a bit? According to whom?

My dream for the Cowboys is to lose out. Draft two front seven players with their first two picks and use free agency to make the overall team better. I think my dream will become a nightmare.

Who says he hasn't been?

There are targets and completions to be made downfield. The problem is poor QB play. Regardless of who it is.
No idea. I haven't heard/seen anything either way, so I was simply questioning where this info came from.

DTs SOMETIMES take time to develop as pass rushers
what we need NOW is DTs that can right away clog the middle and shore up the Run D AND MOST DT's CAN DO THAT RIGHT AWAY
so your excuse for not drafting DTs is GARBAGE

There are many DT's who are good right away. Alim McNeil was a revelation as a rook for DET.

We don't draft wisely, so we don't see them on our team, but it happens quite a bit on other teams. Also, most teams are smart enough to draft a DT before then need one, so they often play more in a rotational role while the starter is still in place. Jordan Davis, for example

Another 4th round pick well spent

He hasn't even been in the game but for a few plays near the end of the half, from what I've seen.

Nice trade, Jerry.
