Phillip Rivers shouldn't have thrown that pass.

I know Phil Simms was whining about it but it was a good move. A great onside kick. But no Charger could come down with it.

It was a great kick by Scifres. Doesn't make it any wiser of a decision.

Chargers woulda got the ball back with a little over a minute left and there's no doubt in my mind Rivers woulda got them into FG position.

the Jets punt on 4th down if they're pinned deep in their own territory.

Still don't think it would have mattered, and I'm sure they would have converted the 3rd or 4th down just like they did with a short field.

So in that case I agree with the onside call, we needed points in a hurry and knew we weren't going to be able to stop thier power run game in the cltuch.

You think only up by 3 at their own 30, the Jets would go for it on 4th and 1?
