Jerry Jones has a very good relationship with Bob Stoops and would have a very good idea about where Mixon is mentally and how far the domestic violence stuff is in the all in the rear view mirror.

He would be a great value for us in the second or third round.Any thoughts on that possibility?

Nope. Let him go to the Seahawks so that the media won't ever talk about his video ever again. Only team in the NFL that gets a thumbs up from the media for taking horrible people.

I don't see him as the poster boy for domestic abuse. But I wouldn't take him before the fifth round, if at all.

I think he would be a great insurance policy for Zeke. I would take him in the 3rd and also keep McFadden on the roster and jettison Dunbar. I don't know if he will last until the 3rd but I think he is worth the pick.

I would also be happy to use a 4th or 5th round on a back like Perine as a consolation prize.

With Trump the president now I think the moral police will back off the liberal agendas. I would not be surprised if the Eagles, Giants or Commanders draft him.

I'm big on Mixon. He's been a turd of a human being but I'm not one to give up on a kid at 20 yo. He's the one back in this draft I know can spell Zeke in any capacity and not have a huge drop off. If the intention is to keep Zeke's touches under control the backup RB for this offense is hugely important.

I'm just not sure if he'd be worth the headache. Our locker room has a chance to be drama free first the first time in a long time next season. It's a deep RB class and some of these kids are going to fall to day three. I realize they won't have nearly the talent mixon has but with Zeke, all we need is for the pick to not suck too hard in the limited carries he'll get.

Not the 3rd.
We have too many needs and 3rd rounders, you often hope, can become starters in a year or two.

Btw, I dont think Mixon is going to be a problem going forward for teams, so he's not a real risky pick...imo.

I just want us to address orher needs assuming we dont reach
If hes still there in the 5th or later...highly doubt it but ya never know...then Im fine wirh it

Hey, let's take a gamble in the draft and the reward can be watering down Ezekiel Elliott.

Who's with me?
