If we are going to draft a RB.......James Conner from Pitt. He is an absolute battering ram. He and Zeke would literally make a great 1-2 punch against opposing defenses.

I'm big on Mixon. He's been a turd of a human being but I'm not one to give up on a kid at 20 yo. He's the one back in this draft I know can spell Zeke in any capacity and not have a huge drop off. If the intention is to keep Zeke's touches under control the backup RB for this offense is hugely important.

Agreed. You also know at some point Zeke is likely to get dinged up. Since our running game is so important you don't want to miss a beat. I would draft a good back to spell him in relief if the player was worth the pick regardless of round

Hey, let's take a gamble in the draft and the reward can be watering down Ezekiel Elliott.

Who's with me?

I guess you enjoyed watching Morris back up Zeke and seeing the offense struggle with Zeke out of the game. Personally, it pissed me off, but I guess to each his own.

I would solidify this running game even more if it is possible to do so. We need a better defense too, of course, but if the draft doesn't fall that way then you can't force the pick.

Not the 3rd.
We have too many needs and 3rd rounders, you often hope, can become starters in a year or two.

Btw, I dont think Mixon is going to be a problem going forward for teams, so he's not a real risky pick...imo.

I just want us to address orher needs assuming we dont reach
If hes still there in the 5th or later...highly doubt it but ya never know...then Im fine wirh it

Agreed. I am saying if anyone knows the risk, in this instance Jerry and company should know.

If Zeke blows an ACL in the first game every one of you will be complaining as to why don't we have a capable backup that can tote the rock 20 times per game. Morris is DONE.

Frank Clark is killing it for SEA and no one ever mentions his history

I say take Mixon but wait until DAY 3 to take advantage of his situation

They don't require these guys to pass weekly tests like the weed guys so he is in the same boat as every other rookie

There's also the confrontation with the parking attendant when he was illegally parked after the assault. I hold out very little hope he's a good dude at this point in his life. He can learn.

LOL. Waste a third round pick on a back that will either sit the bench behind Elliott or take carries away from Elliott?

Sounds like a really awesome plan.

Jerry Jones has a very good relationship with Bob Stoops and would have a very good idea about where Mixon is mentally and how far the domestic violence stuff is in the all in the rear view mirror.

He would be a great value for us in the second or third round.Any thoughts on that possibility?
Is Elliot getting traded r something?
