So far it's going the way i think most people thought it would go.

I was terrified. If we lose game 2, it's done.

We must win one of the next 2. If we don't, we'll gas our pitching staff trying to win game 5, and won't have much left if we do win. Game 3 or 4 is an absolute must. And please, Hinch, no more old man V on short rest.

I think if the Astros are going to win one in Yankee Stadium it will be game 3. I'm thinking games 4 and 5 will not be so easy for the Astros. If the Astros don't win game 3 there's a chance this series doesn't even go back to Houston. Yankee Stadium will be extremley loud tomorrow, best thing the Astros can do is score early and try to silence that crowd, if not it will just get louder and louder as the game progresses. Fox is making a mistake airing this game 3 on FS1.

The pressure is on the Yankees to win all 3 at home which is a possibility. They certainly don’t want to go back to Houston and have to face Verlander n Cole.

Yes, that's why game 3 is the whole series i think.

If the Yankees win game 3, then the Astros are almost forced to bring Verlander back for game 5 leaving only Cole in Houston for 6 or 7 and a good chance for the Yankees to win one of those games.

If the Astros win game 3, then even if they lose game 4 and 5 like i expect they still won't be forced to bring Verlander back in NY, saving both pitchers for games 6 and 7 and the Yankees would have very little chance of winning one of those last two games.

It's a war and tomorrow night is the turning point.

Thats why i also said Fox made a mistake putting this game 3 on FS1 instead of Fox. Who's not going to watch this game?

Lol at self :facepalm:, i just realized game 3 starts at 4pm ET, i was thinking this was a 8pm start, no wonder it's on FS1 instead of Fox.

Lets go Yankees!

Astros starting this game off the right way. If the Yankees can't get to Cole this might be over soon.

I think that was Severino's last pitch today. He gave up two solo shots, it happens, if the Yankees lose tonight i won't blame Severino. Yankees been able to get on bag vs Cole so far, Yankees need to find a way to get some runs now.
