McCarthy was already a bad in game manager when he didn’t have the responsibilities of calling plays. Our time management was always poor we rarely challenged calls...

I really hope we have someone on the staff that’s in charge of clock management cause MM couldn’t do it when that was one of his only few responsibilities on gameday.

Seems like a lot of speculation in my opinion. There were local media guys talking about there being some internal friction between McCarthy & Moore. They didn't see eye to eye. It's been said Moore doesn't really have concepts, just runs plays. I can't confirm that and there's a lot we don't know.
I am curious about the idea that there were already offense influence and changes to the offense, it just kept the language.
McCarthy could be blowing smoke, who knows?

If that’s the case why was Moore allowed to call plays for this long?

One of life's mysteries. Why did they NOT allow Pollard to play more until year 4?
because jerry wanted kellen calling plays, and zeke to get most of the rb action.
he gave up on kellen , and wants to keep zeke if zeke will take a paycut.
mac threw kellen under the bus to keep his 10 mil a year job

We will be fine. Having timeouts at the end of each half is overblown anyways...

Why did they keep playing Zeke? Why do they continuously let players walk with nothing in return? Why did they retain Garrett for TEN FREAKING YEARS? Why do they continue to employ/ draft suspect athletes? Why? Why? Why?

Curious as to how "mac threw Kellen under the bus"? Mac is the head coach so it SHOULD be as simple as this: if Mac deems a new offensive coordinator is needed, then that's the way we go.

Clock management has been a concern with Mac.
Hope he can cope.

That’s BS and it’s nothing but a defense of thr scrub QB by his homers..

Dallas was a top ranked scripted player offense and was top five in second half scoring the last three years of Moore’s tenure, meaning he was known for ability to adjust at half-time as well. They were actually number 1 last year, though that’s in part to scores off TOs probably, but it’s still too either will.

Atlantic did a spread on MOORE’s ability to set defenses up with plays and attack later.

These decisions are made for continuity for our “franchise QB”. They are in the Jason Garrett of training of QB.l project. JJ even had Dak playing in meaningless games at the end of the year to get more and more experience. MM flat out said when he took the job that the OC isn’t changing, it’s about continuity for Dak.

My concern would be getting away from the run game. McCarthy passed 58% of the time as a playcaller in GB. Kellen's 4 year average of run plays is >470 runs per year, a number Mike never reached in Green Bay. The most runs he ever had was 459 in 2013. That was with Scott Tolzien and Seneca Wallace starting three games. His offenses averaged ~414 rushes per year.

This year Dallas passed 556 times and ran it 531 times. Unless he's changed his philosophy, McCarthy could be even pass happier than Moore. Yeah, McCarthy talks about the run game, but it seems just talk, as you can find him talking about it in the same way when he was in Green Bay. Guess we'll wait and see. Would be hilarious if his "different philosophy," with Kellen was wanting to throw more.
