While it is a weird thing to write I am not sure why he would care. If someone said that they thought I was homosexual, I would simply say "nope" and forget they exist 30 seconds after, maybe laughing about it in between those 30 seconds.

Edit: Basically if he accused him of drug use, or of being lazy, or of something that could actually affect his character I would get it, but this is the equivalent of accusing me of liking those home repair shows.
You have to put in context. In 1996, accusing the star QB of the Dallas Cowboys of being gay was a huge deal. NLF lockers rooms (and society in general) weren't ready for a gay QB, let alone a gay QB of the most dominate, visible team in the league. Even if it were true, Bayless is a POS for trying to out somebody.

While I personally don't watch the show and won't click on this to see what he said, it could be relevant to some of you, as you'll might meet someone who gets their opinions from shows like this. So if someone parrots these idiots, you can call them on it.

Stop posting this guy. I don't care what any of these morning hot take morons have to say about anything. Just running their mouths so people like the OP can think it's of substance and it's not.

You mean every time Jerry and Stephen talks to the media. Did you know they even got their own radio station.

I haven't been listening to the media today, because I have a job, and a family. Does anyone know why we didn't challenge, or at least give our team some time on that horrific spot on that CeeDee catch that was clearly a first down? Seems like a seasoned coach has spotters/people who tell him to challenge. Maybe there weren't any challenges left, I can't remember, I just remember that being a terrible call when we needed the right spot. I'm sure an expert on here can clear that up for me! :D
Don't know why we did not challenge either ?
It was a bad spot.

Mike McCarthy won 4 games with a backup QB. End of story, he’s not perfect but he’s pretty damn good.

Can't watch two grown men yelling at each other in awkward displays of anger over a football game.

But to argue that Rush brought he Cowboys back from 20-3 without recognizing they we down 17 points mostly because of Rush's poor performance is strange.

I won't argue that the Eagles secondary may be the best in the league right now. Slay and Bradberry are playing really well this year. C.J Gardner-Johnson is playing really well too. But two of those INTs were bad decisions by Rush. Both receivers were well covered and Rush does not have the arm to throw through that coverage.

Oddly, at one point Skip even argued that Eagles turnover differential is what sets them apart but then argues Rush throwing INTs was not the difference?

I think almost everyone realizes you cannot get behind by 20 points against a good team and expect to win. You certainly cannot get behind by giving up possessions the way Dallas did. To put it another way, Dallas gave a C performance against a team that brought its A game. I don't care which two teams are playing. The A team will win and the C team will find a way to lose.

In 1996, Bayless wrote a book called "Hell Bent" that was based on the Dallas Cowboys. In the book, Skip suspected that Aikman was a homosexual.

Aikman stated that he is still upset about the book & stated he does not know how he would react if he were to see Bayless in person. I'm guessing that I would take Aikman in a TKO.

Loathed Bayless ever since.

I remember that. You don't say stuff like that about people without being certain. Even then, who told Skip it was his responsibility to "out" Troy even if it were true.

Totally classless.

I'm not a Skip fan. But, he makes some great points here and good case for why the cowboys should have won this game.

Even the personally loathsome can make good points once in a while.

How is it these media guys continue having a job? They can say what they want by tossing players & personell under the bus with their lies/insults & continue getting away with it.

My first recall ofSkip punkness was a slander book Skip write about Troy Aikman claiming Troy was gay and other smear comments. If Troy is or isn’t gay is less my concern then Skip’s classlessness. There were other false articles the punk wrote you can look up if you so desire. I’m through.
